  1. If only Jones would say that in his post-match interview.
  2. I think Ralph had to go. But I also think if he had remained, we'd be better off under him now. We didn't need to keep Ralph, but we needed to replace him with someone better than Nathan Jones.
  3. This is the problem he has. He went for the "comfort blanket" approach. Thinking if we have enough bodies back there, we'll survive the initial enslaught. But in the end it just invites pressure and mistakes and resulted in 2 goals conceded. The opposite effect. Just shows such a lack of tactical nous, a low-league management brain at work. That kind of thinking doesn't work at the higher levels. We need a manager who isn't afraid to play a back 4 and can motivate, train and instill discipline in the players so that we don't have to rely on this "strength in numbers" approach of his.
  4. Chances missed. But in truth barely anything gilt-edged was created for the last 15-20 mins.
  5. Hold on there, you don't mean that last bit But I understand the sentiment.
  6. It's still not too late to admit they made a mistake and get someone else in. But need to act faster. Can't see it happening though 😒
  7. I've missed most of the game but it sounds like we threw it away in the first half because of a bad formation/team pick. Frustrating Jones.
  8. I think you answered your own question there 😉
  9. Got to be about 7-8 mins added time now.
  10. Unfortunately, we already are and we are just no threat. Remember we lost to Newcastle who had 9 men before.
  11. It's frustrating. If we were just a little bit better.... not quite so dull. But, we are barely a threat.
  12. Not over if we can just get another back
  13. Another one to keep the bench warm under NJ no doubt.😉
  14. We can dream. Bur suspect we'll end up with neither and it turns out to just be a PR stunt.
  15. Can he play up front?
  16. It's nice to hear they want to stick around and make us successful etc. But they've made a lot of bad decisions so far, over and over again. So unless they learn from that, it does not bode well and suggests we'd be better off if they didn't stick around for the long term. Possibly bringing Wilcox in is a step towards trying to improve the decision making. Hope so..
  17. Didn't Aribo play up front for Rangers last year sometimes? I'm surprised we've not tried that. Aren't any of the current youth crop worth an appearance from the bench? I'm mentally preparing myself for no new striker...
  18. Worth a go up front I reckon. Can't do any worse than Adams surely?
  19. Sounds like Neil McCann Mk II
  20. I think that's pretty much how we all feel right now. Too many bad decisions and no way out.
  21. Unfortunately I missed the whole game due to other commitments. Did Orsic look ok first half or as terrible as Ely?
  22. Same as before looks like.
  23. What was the point?
