Footballers can be a bit precious at times. 'Oh the ref said a nasty word to me', after you've just called him every swear word under the sun. Not saying Adam did but it happens in most cases. What worries me more is Clattenburg admits to either not knowing the rules, or just plain cheating by not giving the penalty. But the PL won't do anything, its an old boys club and they are all above reproach.

Have to say the last two games he has looked every bit a premiership goalkeeper. Didn't get a clear view of their third today so can't comment but that aside he's made a few tidy saves, has commanded his box well enough, quick off his line and his distribution has been excellent. Ive been saying for a while I would like to see how he plays behind a decent defence finally, given that his previous prem experience has been behind a sieve and a lump of swiss cheese. Maybe we don't need to be so hasty in the transfer market after all?

Posting this from the ground, rain has turned to squally drizzle, pitch looking very good. Very windy though, a good day to play it on the floor!

What time does the ref normally arrive?

Its not their decision though is it, its down to the ref. If he feels it unsafe or unplayable then no game.

According to the met office radar its staying until at least 4pm, theres a load more headed your way as well

Anyone else think the game might be in danger today? Currently chucking it down and looking at the radar only going to get worse as the day progresses.

I said pretty much the same thing to my nipper yesterday. the guy has an agenda against Saints. Theres just too many bad decisions from him that go against us. We all moan most weeks about the ref but if you look at the game subjectiveky we tend to get away with a fair few decisions that go the other way, except for when this ***** is in charge. And for him to come out and say he saw the handball but didn't give it as it wasn't deliberate? Thats either gross incompetence or pure cheating. Either way he should be hauled over the coals for it. Will he be? Will he ****...

Utterly ridiculous. If a normal person did their job that badly they would be sacked. For some reason premier league officials seem to be above any kind of disciplinary action for their performances.

...

He knows more about 18 year old premier league left backs than you do!

Cant work out if the guy is just incompetent, or really has a grudge against Saints. Whichever, the FA are too spineless to do anything about it.

Jesus H Christ:mcinnes:

Probably a bit cold for that this time of year...

Its total common sense, and if it happens everyones a winner. Therefore it won't...

Quite possibly. I was merely asking Delldays the same question he asked me in another thread as he's totally contradicted himself in this one...

Nice one on the corner called the Ninian Park. You'll be properly welcomed in there. Actually no, don't. The ground is in a ****ty part of Cardiff, the whole area well worth avoiding. Stick to the city centre then get a cab to the ground.

Wow.

Got a couple of bites though...

Got a couple of bites though...

Hoping this is just banter between journo's Simon Peach ‏@SimonPeach 1h @Jim_SFCMedia @kristemple Don't worry, Pochettino's tirade against Cortese won't come out until the 1200 embargo. Wouldn't leak that. Expand

Simon Peach has tweeted Davis may well be fit for thursday, fingers crossed.

I'll be amazed if any of our team carry on using twitter after some of the disgustiong crap a few morons have sent Gazzaniga last night.
