today has proven one thing - some clappies will try and defend literally anything. Some of the clappy posts today have been embarrassing. Olallana, Always_sfc and Adrian have had a shocking day..... Oldnick and shurluck have defaulted to the "you're a troll" as there arguments sunk quicker than Gulys SWF popularity

I honestly don't see mopo being here beyond the summer - if the league position bonus rumour is true (I think it is) then the guy is clearly motivated by money and not medals (haven't seen a better explanation for our FA cup and league cup displays this season) Given his love of money I see him jumping ship as soon as a better offer comes his way. There was also the "I leave if you leave" stuff back in the summer when Cortese was playing the moody girl routine.... again a massive two fingers to the club and the fans. Yes we play some nice stuff - but our squad is very good and we all felt 6-9 place was achievable this season - for me he's meet expectations and looked after himself... no more, no less.

There were a number of polls started in the summer - "where will Saints finish" The vast majority voted 6-9. so why are we having such a great season? surely we are just on track? The test this season was the cups (our best chance of Europe next season) and we have failed miserably with gutless team selections and performances.

The happy clappies are finding it impossible to defend todays performance and selection so fully expect to see a few "you're a troll" posts very soon. this seems the default "white flag" on SWF these days

You cant compare - we have next to nothing to play for in the league...... The FA cup was the only thing left to really play for Sunderland in a relegation fight and League cup final = entitled to rest players Man C - league title + league cup + champions league = entitled to rest a few Chelsea - see Man C Cardiff - relegation battle, but still playing 1st team Wigan - chasing playoffs, but still playing 1st team

Few accusations of pure selfishness on facebook. supposedly mopo was targeted with 8th or above and gets a huge bonus if succesful..... Explains why he has shown such disrespect to the cups. Lost a lot of respect for him today
