  1. Excellent post, @Dusic & sums up where we are exactly. Ideally, we'd have spread it out all across the window so we had more stability, but as you pointed out, RM said that we'd be starting the season with players who would leave. Might be a bit of a feeding frenzy towards the end of the window, but don't see us panicking.
  2. AWEsome > Insane
  3. Ah! OK, didn't know it was paywalled - mine just worked.
  4. It's in the tweet I posted above (link is at the bottom of the Tweet).
  5. Chelsea have really f*cked that then.
  6. Would love Tella to stay but he’s always been in that likely departure column for me. Prem interest is always going to be an issue. Love that we’re sticking to our guns though.
  7. Problem with Edwards is he’d be very expensive AND you’d have to hope Prem sides don’t want him.
  8. Nothing new
  9. Won’t have to wait long to see if it’s true. Chelsea have a horde of well-connected media peeps.
  10. May as well reject it based on it coming a day after the last one and see what they bid come Sunday
  11. Lille don’t normally spend £20m+ as a rule do they?
  12. If stories are true, then £25m for JWP & £35m for Lavia probably puts them both £10m under where they’d be realistic. Not that far off, really.
  13. Especially when they supposedly bid £45m for the Fulham guy - who’s the same age as JWP.
  14. From SSN: (it’s fair to say West Ham have an extensive shortlist) —————- West Ham: Palhinha, Ward-Prowse, Zakaria latest After more talks, there is still a gap in valuation between what West Ham United are prepared to pay for midfielder Joao Palhinha and what Fulham want. West Ham remain interested, but are deciding whether to go back in with an improved offer after having a £45m bid rejected earlier this month. Any potential deal could be hampered after Palhinha suffered a suspected dislocated shoulder in Fulham’s Premier League Summer Series game against Brentford on Sunday. West Ham are expected to push to sign Southampton captain James Ward-Prowse. It’s thought they are getting encouragement the player would be open to a move to the London Stadium. Ward-Prowse has three years left on his Southampton contract. Talks, meanwhile, continue with Juventus over the signing of Denis Zakaria. It’s understood they are still exploring the possibility of a deal for Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher. Gallagher has featured heavily for Chelsea in pre-season. He has two years left on his contract and Chelsea are open to extending his stay. West Ham retain an interest in Monaco’s French international Youssof Fofana and remain keen on Manchester United’s Scott McTominay, while there is open dialogue with Ajax over Edson Alvarez
  15. What if Russell Martin REALLY wanted him though?
