Seems harder to judge managers because no-one's in a job for very long any more.

This. I'd take a manager with a burning desire to get his rep back over a potentially risky foreign coach. Moyes is well used to navigating the top half of the table - Right now, if we are to see an exodus, I'd bite your hand off for a bit of stability.

If he is, I hope it happens soon - We need to move on no matter what.

What's depressing is that he's on a 5 year contract and presumably a fat contract too.
