Once again giving the ball away cheaply. It was a fun two minutes
-
Seriously why bring on Archer. Can’t hold the ball up at all.
-
I meant Fraser. In my excuse it’s 7 in the morning and the coffee hasn’t kicked in yet
-
Fraser and Cornet go from starting Monday to completely out of the squad today. Martins tombola style of management evidenced here again.

So far this season In 6 games and 2 carabao cup games we’ve used 32 different players, think he’s pulling names out of a a hat and hoping for miracles instead of trying to coach any type of cohesive unit right now.
-
Done with his nonsense. Thankyou for Wembley, but goodbye Russell.
-
Gotta be honest , not a fan of Cornet. Especially as a lone striker. He’s been very mediocre at best in his career so far.
-
Same old fucking Saints.

I just don’t get Martin’s obsession with this system which clearly is very limited. If you watch Man City which is the most successful side in England recently, they go long quite frequently. They mix it up. This suicidal passing in defence is not a long term strategy for success and it seems Martin is too blinkered to adapt.

I don’t get this obsession with risky passes at the back. The negatives of us constantly giving it away and costing chances and goals against, far outweighs any supposed positives. Madness.
-
It’s Darren Ambrose. Makes a change from Garry Birtles and his nonsense.
-
My god Archer.

Getting overrun in midfield

Russball is suicidal in the premier league.

Another mish-mash team selection. Fraser shouldn’t be starting . No KWP? no UGO?
-
Been charged with misconduct for abusive language towards the match officials. Hopefully they will add on an extra couple games suspension as punishment.

Send him off

Ross Stewart sighting

The problem is that Stephens and Bednarek together have never been good enough. Going back aeons. Stephens is very limited, but Martin backed himself into a corner by making him captain .
-
And then ball watching instead of any attempt at marking
-
Martin talks a lot about wanting his players to be brave and take risks, yet his team selections are anything but brave . He should practice what he preaches.

after 0 goals , and zero goal threat last week, can’t believe it’s the same old. Smallbone was atrocious last week. Martins blind loyalty to some players is baffling.
