We have the talent, so if we can’t galvanize that into any sort of cohesion or system then that is 100% on Still.

And to be fair we set the tone for mediocrity being ok by giving a new contract to one of the most mediocre players ever in Stephens in the Summer.

We are Still looking like a complete non-entity of a team so far this season. Like what’s the plan here Still? Going through the motions and seemingly devoid of any attacking insight or defending basics.

Pochettino when he came in as manager had a style of play and had the players responding right away. Even Martin rightly or wrongly had a style of play which he implemented . What is Will Stills modus operandi ? 5 games in and I’ve seen little of what he wants to do and how he wants us to play. Pump the ball long to Archer or get crosses in the box to Archer ? Not impressed so far.

I‘m sure I remember years back that MLG ran a short lived SaintsWeb online game of Football Manager, where 20 of us were managing a premier league team each ? Was fun, but I guess lag/latency was much worse back then and it was a nightmare for it to run smoothly .

So with 5 days to go until the window slams shut, how are we feeling ? For me so far, it’s a D, D-. Completely underwhelmed so far and have failed to address any of the glaring deficiencies the team has had for the last few seasons.
