My thoughts to. Koemans stock is high right now moving to the wrong club ( like Everton) could seriously **** up his ambitions later.

TBF I think Danny struggles with any team that aren't Liverpool...

Danny Murphy pretty much says Koeman is leaving every time he has to comment on saints on MOTD.

Everyone knows it he has the same MO every summer.

Exactly so wasn't just wishful thinking of a few people on here then....

So Frank de Boer and Koeman have the same agent and are both on Everton's list. Koeman said he was going to discuss a new contract this summer. Does this not smack of Koeman's agent creating a bit pressure to get better deal for his client? and then the Agent will get de Boer the job at which ever club misses out on Koeman? After the last few summers I don't tend to dismiss press stories to easily but in this case I just can't see Everton as a good move for Koeman. If this story was Koeman to Arsenal or Chelsea I'd expect him to be gone within days but Everton really can't be more attractive than us right now can they?

As someone else pointed out though the op seems to take great delight in being the messenger.....

Plus surprise signings out of the blue are more fun..

It's not all negative he has been full of glowing praise, all season, for Poch, Levy, spurs players, spurs recruitment, spurs, errrrr spurs and err well just spurs really......

Fonte? Steve Davis? Contracts are easy to do assuming the person your giving the contract to wants to stay at saints......otherwise it's a bit harder

what about Oxo and all the Fonte "I've spoken to him about coming back to saints" articles a week or two back ...

Actually the show after that some Everton fan phoned up saying they should go for Koeman and the guests questioned why Koeman would want to leave a club like Southampton for a club like Everton....

A sort of **** Jack Cork.... JWP gets a far easier ride than some of our player because he is one of our own. If he was called Jamovic Wardich Prowdic and came from eastern Europe he'd be royally slated constantly by our fan base but because he is an academy product we all want him to turn out great. Truth is apart from being a (non-scoring) free kick specialist he really doesn't have an outstanding features to his game. Decent back up squad player who can fill in a few positions on the pitch when injuries kick in but not a starter any time soon.

Goal difference could play a part personally rather see our best 11 and our strongest bench. Palace have already beaten us twice this season.

What? yeah we wouldn't want a midfielder who has scored as many goals as Mane ( assuming Mane's 3 goals in one game count as apparently they don't for some) in one season ? Also it's not replacing Steve Davis we need more options at AM at the moment we have Steve Davis, a good player the wrong side of 30, or JWP (shudder) yet people don't wont a 10 goal a season AM because some fat geordie bloke doesn't rate him ??
