I think Wijnaldum is the only one I'd look at. That many goals from midfield, in a very ****e team, is impressive. Goals from central midfield haven't exactly been prolific last couple of seasons (Steven Davis mini end of season goalfest aside) so defiantly something we can improve on.

I seem to recall both the games the season after in the Championship were feisty affairs with red cards being shown in fair numbers as both sides hadn't quite got over the previous season. After that I think both sides just forgot about each other. Also I think it was more the teams respective mangers the two sets of fans didn't like .....I still think Gus is a knob even now.

Got to remember 10K of our current fan base never bothered to turn up pre PL so this probably doesn't appeal to 1/3rd of the people who turn up at SMS these days

Exactly Koeman has shown he will adapt to the opposition so a variety of different attackers is preferable to give us a plan b and c. Pelle when on form is a very good old school CF worth keeping him IMO.

Well with Europa on for next season we need to keep all our strikers and get Austin and Jrod up to speed there should be enough games to utilise them all.

When he was here we always seemed to struggle against teams who defended deep and countered. His high pressing philosophy is great when the opposition want to go toe to toe but when they just want to sit back and let his team have the ball his style struggles.

And yet fans still want the club to show ambition and spend lots of money...

Not sure I think Leicester has probably made football fans even more demanding. Listening to a Watford fan on Talk Sport saying the Watford manager had under achieved this season given what Leicester achieved (wtf). Fans of every club in the Pl are thinking like that now which is going to cause a lot of angst next season I reckon.
