When Leeds found themselves on the slippery slope that we're on a few seasons back, it was because they'd ******ed money up the wall trying to win the Champions League, but they got to the semi-finals for their efforts and had some pretty damn good footballers on their books to boot. We find ourselves in roughly the same position having tried to be frugal and whilst we saw some good football in the top flight, I think I would rather have seen us go the Leeds route. At least they had some fun doing it...
