I agree no one on this thread has said that but equally, there have obviously been enough comments made for a couple of posters (including myself) to observe that it's a little unwise to suggest that he's not good enough at this stage. Such comments are mostly made by posters who are unhappy about our transfer dealings in the most part. Anyway, just semantics as we clearly agree that it's a shame he hasn't been able to have much of an impact regardless of the reasons behind it.

Not true, Adkins went to see him play the season before he signed for us. Who knows what his thoughts were after the scouting but he wouldn't have been a complete surprise to Adkins.

Why do you always demand evidence of such things? Are you talking about who on this specific thread or are you asking for him to provide you with forum names as to who have "written him off", however you choose to define that. From my perspective, I've seen plenty of comments from people on here saying that they don't understand why he was signed, is a waste of money, not what we need, not good enough etc. I think the general point is that it's generally too early to make such comments.

Or that their limitied performances happen to come during a time where the team have struggled or coincided with a generally poor game (Sunderland) and too much is made from individual performances.

Unwise to write the lad off just yet as some already have, may make decent impact for us until now and end of season. Just needs consistent opportunities which he's never really had. Adkins was mostly cautious when integrating new players so will be interesting to see how Pochettino utilises him.
