Apparently NC extended the deadline for Bologna to accept the offer on the table to tomorrow. If that's the case and Bologna accept, we'll have to do medical, fancy pictures etc so probably would t be announced till Friday I should imagine

The higher calibre the player, the more difficult it is to sign them. We could have done a Reading and bloated our squad with 7-8 fairly average signings by now.....very easily. If we had done that, people would be saying that the quality of the player isn't good enough although the same people don't have the patience to wait and get the right calibre of player. That's why it's frustrating to read, because it gives the impression that nothing is good enough and that people will find something to moan about regardless of what we do.

Well at least people have stopped banging on about signings for the City game now. This time last week, the fact that we hadn't meant that our season was finished before it even started according to some on here. Another argument was that we hadn't been linked with anyone of quality in a few weeks....since then, Ramirez, Phillips, Omar El Kaddouri and a couple of others. Are people not re-assured now that we are looking at a higher calibre of signing than what we are used to?

So Saints are not trying to bully Bologna at all as per some suggestions on here? Bologna are basically in a bit of a financial pickle and this is adding another layer of complication to a deal with probably too many parties involved as it is. Still won't stop the Nasty Nic brigade(NNB) from beating him with their ignorant and uninformed sticks.
