He played well and we won so all good. Pompey fans must be FURIOUS.

Thought that Doku lad looked very Mane-esque.

Chadli wouldn't get anywhere near our squad, ergo we have nothing to fear from Belgium.

Lukaku.

Basically agreed but we'd all be fuming if Redmond blistered past a defender..............on no sorry I've lost the thread of my argument.

That was never a penalty in a million years. Still, I'm thoroughly glad it was given.

Because Mike Riley is a cunt?

Thought Spain looked properly one star. Would actually welcome playing them in the final (if we were fortunate enough to get that far, no presumptiousness here pal)

My thoughts exactly. Good news for us.

That was reckless! Why no red card?

Yeah and it’s only reckless if someone gets injured.

Agree. No intent, unfortunate injury.

Nice goal but the lack of crowd and atmosphere is reminiscent of a league 1 game with nothing at stake.

Top modding right there

What the actual fuck is going on with Kane? Plodding around and then fucking up a gilt edged chance that fell into his lap. If that's Spurs v us he buries it first time no messing about.

Niiiiiiiiice

Bet Giroud scores the winner.

What a goal!

Need to make sure we close out that Neco Williams deal.

They really don't look that good. We'll still lose though.

I'm starting to think I want us to play Germany next.

The other part is calling it right. Maybe just the tiniest chance of us doing a Greece (albeit with far better players capable of so much more) but ultimately I cannot believe for 1 second that a Gareth Southgate team can win an international tournament.

Boring turgid yawnfest. I would take it for one tournament IF we won it. We quite obviously won't though.

LOL plucky losers Scotland

They look fairly shit tbh. I’d say they offer us the best chance of beating a big nation in the knock out stages of this competition since we beat, er Spain, in 96 (on pens). If we beat them in normal play it will be the first time EVER we beat a big nation in the knock out stages on that basis. Still, let’s not get too excited we might not play them and even if we do we’ll almost certainly lose🤩
