Have to agree with all of that. I thought his performance in general was not too bad but that eye test bull**** brings it all crashing down. Makes me wonder if that half hour delay to the press conference was spent agonising over whether to roll with that transparent BS or actually front up and say yes we went for a drive, it was a mistake I'm sorry. "But they'll never believe it. Yeah but if you tell the truth you're ****ed anyway" "But they'll never believe it. Yeah but............"

  8. Find myself agreeing with a lot of what you say recently (which is mildly worrying tbh). I have no doubt whatsoever that a certain percentage of furloughees kinda quite like being furloughed (especially with it being nice out), see a 20% pay cut as a reasonable fee, and will happily employ any easily employed excuse ("I live with my grandad") to avoid the cessation of their furloughed status.
  9. Agree. Haven't watched it but the only way they could make it more unedifying would be to show those knackered old men playing against a team of fitter younger men with no clothes on. That of course would be too ridiculous and gut churning to ever be permitted on national television.
  10. Wanyama didn't want to pass to any of our players from what I recall of his distribution skills ( er..... )
  11. Ditto. I'm not seeing the mass abandonment of social distancing being alleged.
  12. Good shout duckone. Could also simply increase the number of games allowed to be shown over next couple of seasons. Like you say, there must be a deal to be done somehow.
  13. Or if he's consistently carp - Dysentery. L O fecking L. We won't be signing him anyway.

Get the impression Starmer is going to tear Bojo apart. He's going easy on him over C-19.

Good point. Site manager on my last development cycled in every day. He reeked, his office reeked. His office even reeked when he wasn't in it.

Terrible. Cycling on the roads is fcking dangerous at the best of times. Cycling to and from work in rush hour even more so and I would never ever entertain doing it. Being encouraged to do it and that 2 billion is being invested in cycle lanes etc to make it safer is like being encouraged to jump in a fire but not to worry about getting burned because the fire will be out soon. Regardless £2 billion will barely scratch the surface of what needs to be done to make the country's roads properly safe for cyclists.
  18. Having people's names in your phone contact list and not being able to remember wtf they are.
  19. He was known as Bully, though I'd always assumed that was because he was a dead ringer for Jim Bowen's cartoon mate off Bullseye.
  20. Pat.
  21. Leans heavily on people you wouldn't expect to say "****" saying ****. Boring tbh gave up after 2 episodes.
  22. The Noddy Cup. The Pony Premier League. What's not to like?
  23. If that happens I am officially done with it and will not pay to watch it. I don't think it will and even if it does we won't be in it. The Euro League is more likely imho and I say bring it on. Would love to be competing in a league without the big six. It would still be entertaining, would be more competitive and we might even actually end up winning something.
  24. I'm not sure your average Brit is desperate to see sterile behind-closed-doors football tbh. I'm not even sure your average Brit football fan is. As for playing it out abroad - just fecking ludicrous.
  25. Great band - No More Heroes, Grip, Something Better Change, 5 Minutes, all absolute belters though my particular favourite is The Raven. Also achieved the rare feat of improving on an original with their brilliant cover of Walk on By to which DG's superb keyboard work was integral. Saw them a few times including at Reading Rock Festival in 87 which was absolute carnage. RIP.
