We do all of that already. Teachers need to be left alone to get on with their jobs, we don't need to have the threat of redundancy hanging over us 24/7. Our school, which was built in the 1960s was due to receive a large sum of money under the 'Building Schools for the Future' scheme and work was due to start in September on a brand new school...not a revamp, a brand new building. I really really really don't see what the 'Liberal' Democrats have to gain from this?! In future elections the opposition parties can simply say "A vote for the Lib Dems is a vote for the Tories" and BOOM, bang goes their core vote.
