Bring the protests to Gloucestershire. The village of Withington awaits.(Good pub! )
-
Whilst at Northampton Calderwood was linked with a move to Saints as Hoddle's assistant (after WGS).He is obviously regarded by GH,who like Wotte since his earlier rejection still has Lowe's ear. It won't happen as I expect Lowe will be driven out by the summer, especially if we are relegated.

Biily Davies of course would only want to sign a thuggish brute, not a cultured footballer with promise.
-
Reasonable article. Is that Peter Beagrie of the ridiculous backflip ?
-
I too believe he can make a good manager/coach one day,but don't expect him to be able to step up to it now with us. Don't agree with all your character summary though: Intelligent, and determined yes, but I have never seen him as hot headed.Something that set him apart as a player for us was that he was always assured and cool under pressure, organising the defence.I don't recall him being overcome by 'red mist' too often. If he brings these qualities to the coaching set up then he will do well eventually.

Svensson has been put in place to act as a human shield, and try and diffuse the anger at the management team. KVDW ?The mystery continues.
-
Inadvertantly quite accurate.JP "non-active". Wotte,"temporary tasks";do we expect him to be here in August ? "Oefenmeesters";yes we are run by oafs.

OS Confirmed Michael Svennson - New Assistant Coach
Badger replied to steadyeddie's topic in The Saints
So,Saints are now going to wreck Michael Svennsons managerial career before it starts.Just as we did for Jason Dood. Michael Svennson could make a good manager in the future, but putting him into our Lowe filled cesspit at the moment is not going to help him. -
As opposed to arse 'ole. You could of course be forgiven for confusing the two.
-
Please don't be a dickhead, and try to cross the divide between these two sports. Only Rupert is allowed to do that.
-
Just a thought, but if Crouch was present and his presence had any influence on JP's departure, would he not also have been involved in the appointment of a successor ?I doubt he'd have agreed Wotte somehow.
-
I doubt Wilde is even aware such a statement was issued.Least of all in his name.
-
Far better arselicker
-
He will be less "permanent" than Branfoot.
-
Jan = nice bloke, shat upon. Wotte = looks like the smarmy bastard you would not buy a used used car from, and a psychophant who has pandered to keeping in touch with Rupert for two years since he was originally overlooked for the top job.IF he was the capable one he should have been appointed rather than JP. THE CLUB'S MANAGEMENT IS ROTTEN TO THE CORE.

Retard Alert !!!!!

Won't happen. Wottes the lot !

Timing is ridiculous. They've had a week to make a decision and act in preparation for the next game on Tuesday which in laymans terms is now gives us one working day before the next fixture.(Assuming they are training on Monday, not travelling). Is the timing, late on a Friday in anyway influenced by the fact that tomorrows papers are already planned, full of big FA Cup features, therefore reducing exposure to ridicule ?

I feel no animosity towards Jan Poortvliet who I regard as a good and honest man.He was just put into an impossible position by an absolute c^nt of a chairman. So Rupert, your experiment and dalliance with a revolutionary set up has failed, why don't you just f^ck off and die ?

Thanks to PES and Mack rill for their informed comments and it has to be said genuine concern.
-
More likely a "look where he is failing now" story.
-
Good one. Some amusement in an otherwise depressing and possibly sinister storyline.

I remember that but can't recall who we were playing.Lurking in the back of my mind is Leeds c1970 or 71. I picture Eric Martin on lying on the goalline trying to collect the ball, with a quick slight of hand and arm to make it appear as if it were still in play.Or was that a different monumental balls up. My favourite Saints goal for quality was MLT's first vNewcastle in the 2-1. My favourite for sheer joy at the time Steve Moran's last minute goal at Nottarf Krap 1984.

I too subscribe to the Tisdale option, but long term starting for next season. Allen, despite his wheeling/dealing in the loan market has not been that successful at Cheltenham, where he is operating without resources. One regular told me that Allen's constant changing the team/squad round was a major factor in their poor run. Danny Wilson really is yesterday's man, having gone through Bristol City and Hartlepool where he has failed.

What, Rupert has a liking for Dutch transvestites ? Don't believe it.
