  1. That's not an argument, it's contradiction:D.
  2. Your correct, I apologize to Alpine for my words. I do however feel that the possibility of him being a cretin is slightly less fanciful than that of the club deliberately attempting to be one of the worst run clubs or deliberately trying to get relegated.
  3. You're like the bloke in the Monty Python sketch looking for an argument.
  4. Read the article on TUI, you might learn something.
  5. Once again, I don't disagree. We can all easily say in hindsight that he should have been sacked earlier. However the whole point of my post was that it is not deliberate and the situation we are in does not mean we are a badly run club.
  6. I don't disagree but clearly the board wanted to give MP as long as possible to turn things round, another mistake. This is a good article on TUI: https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/southampton/news/47715/who-is-who-in-the-blame-list-at-st-marys
  7. No, of course not. Are you deliberately a cretin? The board have made a poor managerial appointment, this has nothing to with how well the club is run. A well run club can make mistakes.
  8. Pointless thread (although I'll contribute anyway) with many pointless and vitriolic comments, would you say them to his face? I doubt any of you have met him so how can you comment? He was no doubt a decent man who has tried his hardest to make it work but failed, that doesn't make him a clown or a c*nt. IMO the toughest decision to be made in football is appointing a manager. When you buy a player you have a reasonable idea of how it will turn out but a manager is different. Who'd have thought Dyche would be such a good appointment for Burnley and who expected Carvalhal (sp) to have turned it round at Swansea. The board have had to make a number of appointments over the past few years, some they have got right such as Adkins, Poch and Koeman, this one they got wrong. I just hope they get the next one right.

  10. I doubt it will make any difference to be honest.
  11. No, a fans protest would be pathetic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Remember it well, I was 13 years old an a section of Saints fans in the Forest end. At half time (we were 1-0 up) we couldn't understand why all the saints fans were disappearing and the section was full of Forest.
  13. Exactly the line up I’d have gone with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Just hit the post, decent effort.

    Daniel Fox

The guy used the words 'worst left backs ever'. LD called him out for it quite rightly. This is the usual comment from people who really don't know much about football and there are plenty of them on here. Danny Fox was a decent player, not the best by a long way and got found out in the PL but to label him as one of the worst left backs ever is just plain wrong. He did an excellent job for us in the time he was with Saints.
  16. Lovren top of the list for me.
  17. Good news for Saints fans with Stephens and Lemina in there, until that is you read what the cretin actually writes about us. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42939013
  18. Modern football, a bit shi* really
  19. 20 minutes to go FFS
  20. Here we go
  21. Another pointless post on what is becoming a forum full of bedwetters. It’s a football match, Saints are playing, I want them to win FFS Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Of course he will sign, it was agreed a few days ago. Les and Ralph are just delaying the announcement so they can have a good laugh watching this forum go into meltdown.
  23. 10/10
  24. Then stay away from the forum mate, this place is for experts!
  25. Messi and Ronaldo are getting on a bit so, no.
