Cameron may well be a bellend for promoting a *** to the House of Lords but then that would make pretty much every PM ever a bellend (which may be the case).

Most stuff in the Top 40 is infinitely more offensive.

Agreed. For the purpose of an comedy act that will go down well.
-
TBF, I've just Wiki'd Spitting Image and it turns out Dune was responsible for most of the best bits.

LOL!!! You should do observational comedy. When you do, can you suggest that George Bush isn't all that bright and that William Hague is funny sounding (and looking)? People will love it!
-
If you say so!

I can't take the credit for that one!

I have nothing against people who are left of centre who are not enormous hypocrites. It might surprise you to learn that I have never voted Tory in my life.

I thought he had a good day. As usual there seemed to be an edict not to give any fouls for challenges on him but he still won his fair share of headers and played a couple of good incisive passes. He retains possession superbly. If he had a bit of pace he would be playing in the Premier League. He still doesn't seem to be quite the same play as last season for some reason but he did contribute much yesterday.

Have to say, fair play to the ref. Kept things as calm as he could have done there. Carragher and Rafael should've probably both been sent off but at least he was consistent! If he had sent off one but not the other there would've been an injustice.
-
And here's another ruck...
-
ps. Suaraez is nearly as good as Antonio and Mackail-Smith.

Should be a good second half. Starting to heat up. Carragher should've just been sent off and Nani is being an uber-****.

Hello mate! I hear the logistics emails have started flowing - I will have access to my usual email again soon so will be in the loop. Looking forward to it. Been practising my press-ups.

He was deputy PM and would frequently represent us on the world stage whilst Blair was off holidaying with Mubarak or Berlusconi (or didn't you know that?).

If you open a post with that first sentence then anything else you say is going to be tainted by the perception that you are a sad idiot. Which is a shame.
-
Please don't. It still beggars belief.

If we go up and they don't then I would imagine there is a reasonable likelihood of that.

The thing is though, the ref was clearly a joker so it was a very silly thing to do. As Adkins identified in his interview, coming to terms with the reffing was just as important as handling Colchester.

Exactly. For Saints it's a game against an automatic promotion rival. For Bournemouth it is all sorts of weird and wonderful things. Our record against auto-promoton rivals this season is very good. We have beaten The Cherries twice. We have taken 4 points from Peterborough. We have beaten Huddersfield and lost to Huddersfield. We have draw with Brighton and outplayed them. I think we should all be looking for a win on Saturday, although a draw will also be an ok result.

Richardson does create openings with his pace sometimes. There have been a few instances of him surging forward and slipping a decent ball in. Butterfield on the other hand has a "better right foot" IMO and is a better crosser. Butterfield is better at the basics of defending but doesn't have the recovery speed of Richardson. Both are probably better than any right back we have said since we were in the Premier League and are excellent options for a third tier team to have!

He was very, very good. I think we were very unlucky on Tuesday. The injury to Schneiderlin so early on threw a big spanner in the works. The thing is, Chambo consistently gets assists and plays well yet some people on here don't seem to rate him that much. Very odd IMO. You can see exactly why the top clubs are interested in him. You could see it within about 10 minutes of his first appearance.

I was thinking about this. I think I would prefer to start with Ox, get a couple of goals and then take him off after 60 though. If we start with N'Guesan and he doesn't beat 10 players within the first five minutes the usual synaptically challenged element of the crowd will start getting restless and throw their rusks on the floor and there will be a danger the atmosphere gets nervy. I would bring Martin in for Jaidi but otherwise start with the same team. I would look to bring Ox and Lambert off after 60-70 minutes if we are comfortable.

Meh. It seems you can do pretty much whatever you want nowadays as long as you don't touch the ball.
