The Briar Rose & Wellington on Bennets Hill only 5 mins walk from New Street Station, much better heading there IMO, then a 10min walk to Moor street station to catch a train The Hawthorns
-
Have you directions from New Street Station to the Victoria ?
-
Pub near to New Street ?
-
We went to the Shakespeare (back of New Street Station) last season when we played villa, prob go there first, is the Wellington close by ? also we are cider drinkers only had one on at the Shakespeare.
-
Seeing that you are a local lad, have you any advise on pubs near to Moor Street Station ? as we all coming up by train
-
We did that, you can still get trains for £27-£35 ish return to The Hawthorns from Eastleigh depending on times etc, or you can do two group 4 saves, the London-Brum bit though has to be with London Midland Trains
-
Ok thanks for the tip off
-
The Three Guineas Pub outside Reading station are screening the whole game so going to still make the short trip by train and watch the game there.
-
Yes going to wait, group 4 save is ok on the day as you say, thanks
-
Can you do the group 4 from Southampton on the day then ? was about to book advanced trains but saw that Man u and chelsea still in the cup and our game could be moved
-
is that the norm with them then, thats a long way, what do they come round and ask who wants to use the toliet ?
-
You can buy 2 group saves if going via London Euston, one with SW and one with London Midland Trains works out £32 each
-
When leaving New Street which side of the station do you come out of to find the Shakespeare ? Cheers
-
The Shakespheare in lower Temple Street looks good, right outside New Street Station.
-
Ok thanks, works out £31 total each from Soton for the two group saves, the shortest time on the Euston-Brum is 2 hours 15mins
-
Can't you do a group save 4 from Euston ?
-
Yep that'S WHAT WE ARE DOING, POP IN THE HOLE IN THE WALL FOR 11.30AM, HAVE A COUPLE THERE THEN TUBE IT TO ARSENAL
-
Short tube ride from waterloo
-
Hole in the wall at waterloo:)
-
um Flying Scotsman comes to mind
-
What pub for this one ?
-
Did anyone go to the Barrow Boy after the game bit of a ruck in there dont know who started it.
-
Still can't see what the issue is ? only 2 stops by train from Waterloo by far the quickest London game to get to. Millwall is not the place it used to be.
-
Hole in the Wall at Waterloo, then Barrowboy and Banker London Bridge, why on earth have we not sold out for this game, we are top of the division and going into the last 10 games ? what is up with our support.
-
Thanks for all the info mate, thinking of going after the game, any idea closest tube station ?
