Totally agree, he's unfairly jumped on too many times. He's got a good touch and could quite easily do well in the PL. I just hope he plays in the hole when he gets his chance not on the wing where his positioning can sometimes be a little suspect whilst defending (although he did get much better towards the end of the season).

As for him not wanting to move down south let's not forget he's already got mates in Danny Fox & Jack Cork who he will know very well so it's not like he ain't gonna know anybody.

Couldn't disagree with you more, JR is a VERY bright prospect and will very soon if not straight away be one of the most important players at our club (if he signs). Try to remember he's still in his very early twenties & already has a very rounded game. Let's face it most of us thought 12-15 mill for one of our brightest ever stars was a fair price.
