  1. good reply. But not very informative. How, exactly, am I an idiot?
  2. spot on. £5 per month, or maybe £1 per game. Either way, the server infrastructure has to be sufficient to provide the expected service which has been paid for.
  3. Illingsworth has always cared more about himself than the club. He is an egotistical ar-se-h0-le of the biggest order. He has no constituency. He only has a few phone numbers of hacks at Solent etc which give him the appearance of speaking for us all. He is a nobody. A joke.
  4. I stand corrected. I am sure he was a great little football player, aged 3. My point stands.
  5. SISA? They are about as relevant to me as Portsmouth Football Club. That egotistical kn0bhead who runs it needs to shut the f u ck up. SISA is nothing, it is bull****, it is history.
  6. so you haven't ever seen Lambert play football? Actually, the last time you came to a home game Rickie wasn't even born! Lambert has been crap this season. Last season he was great. This season, so far crap. No room for has beens. If he was good last season, fine. Pay him. This season he has been crap. Kick him up the arse and get him to be interested. The team, the club is bigger than any one individual, never mind his past statistics. If he ain't up to it, then he is dead wood and he should be let go.
  7. Now look, I ain't no Labour lover - never voted for them - but Ed Miliband is light years ahead of the rest. Watching Question Time on BBC, Ed Miliband has got it, his brother hasn't. None of the others has either. Ed has the pulse he has the edge. Ed M, looks like a good move for the Labour party. Good luck to him, about time that Labour was about Labour.
  8. utterly meaningless statistics, and you know it. If he is not fitting into his present team then his past performance can go whistle. And this season he ain't performing.
  9. Proven? bahhhhhhhhhhhahahahhaahah!!! Since when was he proven? One season does not a striker make! sorry, but he has been pants so far this season. And not just pants, but really poor. You can't deny that. Barnard has been much better; never mind the goal tally, Barnard has worked harder and been keener. Lambert has not been firing on all cylinders and unless there is a marked improvement soon then he should not just expect to make the starting 11 by virtue of just 'being Lambert'.
  10. Nothing, but I want you c 0ck tomorrow morning. mmmmm, Dog c0 ck....
  11. nope, all done. When was the last time you were at a home game, may I ask?
  12. sorry, you are right. I forgot, he has scored loads of goals this season, is fit and is in no way dragging his feet.
  13. Sounds like Lambert is not interested in playing football this season. Certainly looks that way at home games. Maybe it is time to off-load him come January and spend the proceeds plus a bit more on a proven striker, unlike a one season-wonder.
  14. That sums up Puncheon at a stroke. He has no finish.
  15. just ****ing dump them. Give them a rub down with an alcohol based solvent to remove finger prints drive about 50 miles out of town along a country road with forest either side and chuck them. Simples. So long as it ain't in your council's area and you have not left any evidence what's the bother? If you are getting paid for it make sure you don't use your own van and you are away scott free. Eventually they will get cleaned up and we all pay far, far too much poll tax anyhow so **** it. It is a dog-eat-dog world and you got to eat after all.
  16. they weren't just shamed in a public hearing. Some of them have been sent down the mines, quite literally. http://www.timeslive.co.za/sport/soccer/article497340.ece/World-Cup-players-sent-to-coal-mines-if-they-lose frankly they deserved it. If I were Kim Il Sung Ming Wang Cok or whatever the silly noodle-munching toss-pot is called, I would have them all castrated at the stake for failing so miserably at the world cup. Only our English Boys are allowed to be crap beyond the call of duty. Those North Korean Commie B'stards should stop stealing Our Boys' thunder.
  17. probably sh i t.
  18. no. I'll pay £50 if it means getting a decent server, otherwise I'm out.
  19. yeah, heard it from a mate. His sister's hairdresser's dog-walker's aunt is Fonte's cleaner. She says that Adkins was round there yesterday and mistook her for Ms Fonte. Definitely a man.
  20. leave off, don't even try blaming it on Wilkins. egiot.
  21. I totally agree with the OP. Frankly, the service is not up to scratch. If this was still a student project then fine, no harm done. But this web site is owned by a for-profit company and we pay our money. Every single game there is considerable 'crash time' where the server just can't handle the traffic. I take my hat off to the students who have got this going, but they need to have a reality check. If they are running a for profit company, they need to deliver the goods. I suggest, that what may have started out as a 'wonderful idea' has since turned out to be a bit of a drag as the cash-flow has not supported the necessary infrastructure spend. £5 a year is really not enough to charge. Either be a free forum, or be a real business. You can't cut it both ways. Servers cost money, bandwidth costs money and perhaps most importantly your interest costs money; you lads need to be kept keen. So charge a proper fee. £5 per month is more like it. Many won't pay, so restrict them to perhaps 20 posts per month. Or maybe only 5 posts per match thread.
  22. Yes. Adkins is a man.
  23. No Papa, no Antonio sums it up. This team of ours is lacking something. There is no catalyst. Every team needs a spark. Look at how Albion fared at the w/e with Lua-lua and his magic jumping summersault. Razz-ma-tazz, call it arrogant or what ever but it lifts the whole team. When Papa was introduced to us last season, before he had his license he came out wearing a sharp suit, ran over to the Northam and signed a few kids' programs and then did his little African Hunter dance. You just knew that he was going to be a spark both on and off the field. Sparks like that need to be well shepherded so as to not spike the dough, but with out that yeast the dough never becomes the bread. We need sparkle and a bit of arrogance. Lambert is not there, he is good but not a natural razz-ma-tazz player. He is solid, as is Lalana, but we need real sparkle and a bit of real arrogant belief.
  24. unfit, unfit \unfit, unfit //unfit, unfit \\unfit, unfit //unfit, unfit yup
  25. probably crap, if that's what you mean.
