Forest lose again so they do not gain points on us barnsley lose by the Same margin as we do... Donny gain a point on us... and norwich also fail to gain any points on us.... Some gains by Donny, Forest & Norwich with goal difference... Despite the awful result and the circumstances that surround it, Saints did not lose much ground on our relegation rivals.. if we are going to lose perhaps to do so on a weekend when the rest do puts it in perspective. But... gaps are now beginning to form, our goal difference continues to go into negative equity...and now in the next round of games we can only reasonably expect to get as high as 17th. It appears our options in terms of expectations are now narrowing.. but at least the other teams around us are as poor as we are. dont think we are learning anything new today. Yes we play nice football, yes our defence is poor, yes we are lightweight, yes teams like watford will fill theuir boots with our defence whilst we continue to look good.. etc.. etc..

sadly this will continue to happen all season against teams such as watford, Palace, QPR, Cov, Sheff U, Reading, Wolves, Charlton, Ipswich, all are waiting for us... all games will ship goals unless something miraculous happens. Today is a good example of when Davis cant make those amazing saves. His percentages and luck had to run out sooner or later. Scores like this have been waiting to happen in virtually every game we have played. Some we got lucky with....

interesting to know who we played for each of those managers. JP got points from Derby, Doncaster, Norwich, Barnsley and Ipswich. Hardly Premiership team calibre. At the same time JP lost to: Cardiff, Birmingham, Blackpool, QPR, & Coventry

as i said last week ... as win against Cov... It is what it is...

Current stats suggest we will get about 49pts this season... I think we will be lucky to get that many.
