  1. So using the average we might expect 24 pts from games won.... so once we work out % of games drawn we get some idea of the total points to expect on these performances...
  2. ok so 1/6 games won... how many drawn and lost plz..
  3. my prediction league punt was/is 5-1 Preston
  4. I have had similar problems and eventually after they ruled out my house (they even told me to unscrew my telephone connector box) an the contents therein... they sent a technician who climbed some telephone poles outside my house... then went to the exchange (3 miles away) and finally concluded that BT are knackered and yr speed is relative to the distance from the exchange and the quality of the wiring between you and the exchange...in a nutshell unless it is fibreoptic it aint worth Jack "you know what" and the technician knew it and left with the problem unresloved. Sorry to say that based on my experience you will never get Broadband speeds with your current set up and it isnt your fault, it is BTs and they cant do a thing about it unless they inject some massive infrastructure investment (sound familiar?) a bit like the old Victorian sewers or delapidated underground systems.... in short... consider going to Virgin Media if you can.. I will be when my 18 month contract expires!!! HTH

  6. Perhaps this round of games is significant because of the real significance a win would have brought. Back into the pack closing in on Palace/Watford/Norwich/Charlton.. a Forest loss would have started to open a gap from the bottom 2...instead.... Forest close the gap on us as they gain 2 points over us.... Barnsley do the same and now thwey threaten to open a gap from us... Norwich/Palace both a bit jittery and we gain 1pt on them (but are they real relegation contenders???) Overall: a round of missed opportunities, if we had held onto the lead v Cov... lots of ifs... A trend is emerging as bottom 3rd teams are putting together results then spoiling it.. as for saints... scrapping for the odd point here and there and given our next few games we need one of those rogue results (ala Norwich/Wolves) to go in our favour. Is it just me or do others sense a gap starting to emerge. Thread factor 0%... we are in this relegation mix for the long term... do we have what it takes to finish 21st? Highest realistic position from next set of games...19th but if we win handsomely and Norwich lose heavily we could go 18th .. like I say "realistically". L*w*st possible position after next round....22nd .. no change! (small mercy) We could be out of the bottom 3 IF WE WIN AND there is a winner from Charlton/Barnsley game...
