Agreed this club is becoming less and less the club I have supported man and boy.... whilst the move from the Dell was supposed to be a new dawn I didnt expect it to be a fall from Grace!! But just how many people linked with "that club" are still present here? (Fans aside that is???) If I dont feel an affinity I am also left wondering if the supposed "sugar daddies" that may support The Saints have also turned their backs on us (them) considering us as a lost cause??? Yes the Southampton FC I support has gone.... The Saints.... no longer... dont rely on believing that "one day our time will come again" because the whole damn operation has been mis-managed into insolvency... if anything does survive it wont be my team will it?

Yes the result is larger than we could imagine... going into admin 7 points ahead of relegation gives us an almost fighting chance... but saints being Saints......

a new manager would spend endless games trying to work out what we already know... we are crap so are our players, so is the level of resources and so is....etc...etc... and in the mean time the squad is continuously tinkered about ... gelling ... blah... blah... oh hell go on then... same old... same old... cant hurt us anymore can it.. when in free fall all u have to fear is the ground........

of course we are all entitled to our own opinions and for what it is worth I think I am living through the serious decline in Southampton Football Club and they way it has been run over the last few years suggest that it is either going out of business or likely to languish in the lower leagues maybe for a long long time... personally i think the situation we are now in could have been avoided many times and each opportunity.. wasted...all of course IMHO!!!!

Lowe has experimented with this club too often, hoping to find that undiscovered starlet to push to team back to former heights. But he's failed...each decision he has taken has further reduced our options.. instead of becoming stronger, more stable he has made us weaker, unstable and downright inept. Because of his "experiments" we are spiralling towards who knows what... Other clubs like Watford and Charlton are in danger of doing the same. The difference being that they dont have "a Lowe" who will continue his own game of FM07/08/09 until the club is in tatters. The only reason that so many posters refuse to believe our fate is because no other club will have ever experienced it ... this club is dying... and the ineptitute of a few executives ...and their stubborn refusal to do the right thing and GO..is the cause! In years to come other clubs will look back at how Southampton Football Club was RUN not MANAGED and state "That is how not to do it." Many dont want to believe it but they know they ought to. The result... yet more change...and none of it purposeful or productive. I repeat the club is dying and we are all relatives sitting at the bedside administering the last rites.
