I did not say I thought Pardew should go I just said that NC should run the club in the way he seems fit. I am certain if Pardew goes he will be replaced by an experienced Manager

What a dumb comment . Pardew proved he was incapable of getting a winning team without ML's money as our first ten results were shocking. So without ML/NC we would not have had such a good season. Pardew has done OK but another manager might have done better who knows. ML/NC are much more important to the future of the club than Pardew and should be left to run the club as they see it

That is very interesting as they used to play opposite to my School Manor Park in Nuneaton and I used to watch them sometimes.

I think it more down to NC/ML that we have had a good season than AP So lets let NC run the club the way he wants that said I dont see the point of removing AP

I am not saying it is a good idea that Pardew goes but it wont be a disaster either

I dont know how good Celtic are now but they easily beat Saints last season and did have Robbie Keane on loan. The report says they are looking for new players and recruiting from League 1 would seem to be a good idea. With Puncheon and Lambert being in the League 1 team of the season it is hardly surprising that they have been mentioned

He needs to be looking for a Championship club unfortunately not a League 1 one but I have heard that he does have attitude problems

A little dramatic I would have thought - Although I dont see the point of getting rid of Pardew a replacement would probably be able to get us promoted with the squad of players we have. It would probably be a diaster if we lost Lambert but not if we lost Pardew

Pretty weak in midfield but cannot really see any alternatives except for Bale and Walcott

I totally agree with you I was just pointing out why I thought we did not get promoted I thought we did really well this season and never expected promotion but hope we maybe in the CHAMPIONSHIP in the near future

I think you are right we could have had a better season but it was one of the best for sometime. I think it shows thatPardew is a bit like Redknapp he needs to buy in players to succeed - I wonder if he will be able to develop the Academy Players into regular first team players like Cortese wants. Seemed to do very little in that area last season but of course the youngsters maybe poor

Beating Leeds and Norwich are not beating Tranmere Exeter Wycombe and Brentford is not conistent Not getting enough points means getting less than Norwich Leeds Millwall Swindon Charlton and Huddersfield if had got more we would have go to the playoffs I would have thought.

In all types of business there is pressure from above to meet targets but he has not appeared relaxed in front of the press on a couple of occassions.

NC/ML may not think Pardew is as successful as he should have been with all the money spent and he may not be the person to lead us to the Premiership. We just dont know what has gone on between the three of them but I dont have a five year plan so I would be happy for Pardew to continue. But he will be under pressure next season and I am not sure he reacts well to it

But Man City who I think you suggested last season would not be in the top six got rid of Hughes in possibly similar circumstances and maybe in the Champions League next season. So replacing a manager is not always wrong. Now that ML/NC own the club they are responsible to no one and can do what they think is right we may not agree with their decisions but we have to accept them. Although I think AP can lead us to the Championship he may not be the manager to take us further but only time will tell

I dont think the form was bad but the other teams were doing well and we just seemed to falter when the chips were down with results at Exeter Wycombe Tranmere etc What was our best winning sequence?

No one knows but if AP is sacked would you like the job?

Because Coppell may not want to work for NC

The reason we did not get promotion was that the team was not consistent and did not get enough points

Well I think it is Pardew's fault he should have done better with the team at the beginning of the season I am not suggesting that we should have won them all but we should have got a few more points
