I like JV. He came in young and did well, bagging that cracker vs Utd. Then he had a bit of a confidence crisis culminating with that shocker vs Leicester. I think that really crippled him but he's got his head down and kept working hard in training. Played well today. Pleased for him. You hate to see a young lad's career disappear like that. Hopefully he'll gain a lot of confidence from here and be a useful squad member.

There have been games where we've been seething at the players for being so soft and thick but this was a game where they stood up together and fought tooth and nail vs 12 man Spurs. Brilliant response.
