It’s maddening isn’t it? It'll be a 3 on 2 break, crying out for a simple pass or a bit of craft to trick the defender and get clean in and it’s “Redmond...waits....waits.....WAITS...”. Then they have 6 men back and he’ll pass it to Romeu or Bertrand.

How shit are we a club that we as a club that we lose one RB and we can’t function at all? We cannot be relying on one player to be able to compete. The players need to to take a damn long hard look in the mirror. Newcastle were diving in and had lost the plot yet not one player had the guts to run at them into the box. Instead it was passing around the periphery waiting for someone else to step up. Highly paid footballs need to step up and make things happen. Not this lot. Gutless.

And yet other teams adapt and score against us all the time. Excuses, excuses.

During the games it feels like one of those utterly predictable horror movies. You can see it coming a mile away. The keeper cock up to piss away all our momentum, the hitting posts and off the line stuff when we should be scoring. The not changing anything but giving it to Iggy Pop Redmond (I am the passenger...). Only thing I got wrong was Newcastle not making it 4-2 at the end. Next couple of games are early ones here. Might have a lie in instead.

So weird that when I saw the red for Newcastle my immediate response was “oh shit!”. We don’t have a clue to score against a team that sits back. It’s easy for teams now. Wait for us to gift them an opener and then just sit back. Job done. We’ll either not score or we’ll give you another goal later on.
