Get Redmond on for Djenepo at HT. Pointless having him on, he's awful and will likely get a red on about 60 mnutes anyway.

Like the last 2 games our pressing gets us into great situations but then the players jizz themselves and make a mess of the decisive pass.

OMG. Djenepo, livewire but poor decision making.

If Djenepo had hit that slightly worse than he did it would have been a great pass.

Hopefully Ralph can have a training session for Armstrong, Adams, Djenepo and Walcott where all they do is practice the weight of through balls, reverse passes, cut backs etc. We get into some wonderful positions but often that final ball is under-hit or passed straight to a defender.

So what does this mean going forward? We’re hoping to have Ings and Redmond back and presumably Salisu will make the bench at some point. Diallo looks ok, but clearly we need a couple more players that we can rotate into the team. Money is tight, any significant injuries will really cripple us. We might need to temper our expectations a bit, especially with Christmas schedule to come.

Long was utterly abysmal. What was the point of bringing him on? Might have well as just gone with Obafemi or one of the other young guys. We basically went down to 10 men with that sub.

I feel that Walcott has been poor. We’ve kinda given him a free pass due to history but he seems out of synch with the team. Makes odd decisions, runs into coverage and his shooting is really poor. I think when Ings and Redmond are back then Walcott will be an option vs tired defences.

Had Wolves last year written all over it. We were lucky to be 2-0 up at HT.

We’ve got a decent first XI but we’re threadbare after that. It was nice being up near the top but without high quality players on the bench we are going to struggle, especially during the festive period.

Shane Long has been absolutely brutal since coming on. Just awful. Is he really the 14th best player (counting Ings and Redmond) we have?
