DAZN just showed a little Matty highlights package. Never tire of seeing his goals. We were so lucky to have been able to enjoy them. Still staggers me to this day that even in the twilight of his career he was able to be “the man” just one last time in the dying seconds of the last Premier League game at the Dell vs Arsenal. What a strike too. Phenomenal.

Hoping Armstrong has his shooting boots on. He was excellent before he got injured and probably our best bet for scoring from midfield. Hoj wasn’t a very good captain. Will be interesting to see how JWP does. Maybe Hoj will be better without the captain duties?

I watched the DAZN stream today and they had crowd reaction noises for chances, goals etc. Trouble is, it’s probably a bloke pushing a button so it was delayed and just felt weird.

Was utterly ridiculous given how my times VAR has given really dubious penalties etc. To just shrug it off and go, “oh well, the camera didn’t work due to the position of the goalie” was utterly ludicrous. I wonder what would have happened if it was a Liverpool goal?
