  1. Oh boy, Stephens slipped, Lino flag up though, Burnley scored. VAR.
  2. Nearly got the ball threaded through there and then JWP with a fierce shot but straight at keeper.
  3. Good movement so far. Stephens with 2 important interceptions too.
  4. Approaching midnight here in South Western Quebec (I live across the river from Ottawa in la belle province). Had a couple of beers after my match tonight (we lost 4-1, bah). Really looking forward to the season and seeing what Saints have in store for us. Would love a comfortable 2-0 win but thinking a 2-2 draw will be what we get. Hopefully it’s us scoring at the death rather than them.
  5. I have Mané, but VVD as captain. Mixed emotions when Norwich scored, would have been a bumper points haul for a clean sheet.
  6. Norwich score. Pukki.
  7. These commentators will have to pace themselves, surely they can’t keep up this level of fellatio for a whole season.
  8. Got their tactics wrong. They went for it thinking Liverpool would be rusty but are getting completely destroyed. Brave of them but 4-0 before half time, ouch. They could go wire to wire as bottom of the league this season.
  9. Plenty of ****ing going on. Can they not say Liverpool without saying European champions before it?
  10. In before MLG corrects you that it's "envious" and not "jealous". ****, is Danso Doneso so we can all get back to what we were doing?
  11. "Hoover the front room" eh? Think she meant something else.
  12. Dirty Sanchez!
  13. Arsenal probably sent theirs 35 minutes late by bike messenger and will still get the OK...
  14. Carrier pigeon arrived. Note addressed to Permier League, anybody know a Permier League? Sounds familiar but nope don't know them. *throws in trash*
  15. Expertly MLGed!
  16. "wibble" - Capt. E Blackadder
  17. Good for Wigan. Anyway, it's just my opinion that football in the 90s as a Saints fan was far more exciting than now. You can disagree, as is your right, but I much preferred the 90s.
  18. And all of them lost...
  19. In the 90s, smaller teams stood a much better chance (especially the league cup).
  20. Agreed. The huge gulf in money and pure greed of many players has taken all the romance out of football. It's definitely sobering when you see Everton and West Ham spending 40M+, the big-boys spending 80M+ and huge wages. Saints don't stand a hope in hell of winning anything. Even if we somehow get through to the Semi or Final of either cup, the likelihood is we get a top 6 side and they play their best players. Saints nowadays is about trying to stay up and maybe beating a big team on an off day for them. The wins vs Arsenal and Spurs were the highlight of last season, for me anyway.
  21. Off topic but do you ever go watch Columbus Crew or FC Cinci?
  22. You have to give it to them. The usual suspects (AKA forum experts) have been working hard in pre-season, working out routines (old and new), experimenting with repetition and will be in tip top form come Saturday afternoon.
  23. I'm sure that if you had a reasonable conversation with him he'd blur out your face in his video. It's not that hard to do.
  24. Whereabouts are we on the momentum curve?
