Agreed. The options open for players are very limited at times. Lemina had the ball and all of the players ahead of him (5) were static, didn’t offer a run or anything so not wanting to dally on it he had to go back to keep possession.

I’m a forward, but I never shoot during the warmup. It doesn’t feel the same as during game making it a sort of pointles “who can score the most outrageous shot” competition. I’d rather domdynamic stretches, passes and mini sprints.

Nope, I’m a Scot and bewildered at blowing a really easy group. Nothing glorious about that performance. Scotland looked like they were already out and not fighting nail and tooth to get to the playoffs. Pathetic.

Disagree with this, Clyne is a far better player. Yes Cedric puts himself about and covers a fair amount of that right hand side but he can't shoot and his crosses are mostly hit and hope.

Boufal was definitely in, you can see him when JWP finishes. PEH was pretty far forward if he was playing as one of the DMs. Hopefully this was an exercise in these mids losing the shackles and powering forward.
