That's your perogative, but i doubt Leon Crouch and co see it like you do. I think it was scripted spin to try to pressure Crouch, McMeneny, Corbett to keep quiet for the sake of the team (for the sake of Lowe and Wilde). If Crouch etc speak out Lowe can then claim the moral highground. Far from calming the situation Wottes words will only serve to inflame things IMO.

You make light of things but it's very strange that Wotte called for unity from Ex directors and Chairman. He's the football manager and football managers don't get involved in boardroom squabbles (at least in public). There's no way he'd have gone down this road if he hadn't been sounded out to say it first.

It's not the Head Coaches job to speculate on club politics. Why did he even mention it? I reckon he was briefed by Lowe or Wilde to say what he did. When a new manager is unveiled they never unveil themselves. The chairman is always there to offer support. The fact Wotte was abandoned to face the media without support from a board member is shambolic and gutless.
