  1. If have enough goes at "pinning the tail on the donkey" you're bound to get it right sometime.
  2. I wouldn't take much notice of rent-a-gob Illingsworth.
  3. Illingsworth is getting more and more up my nose with every passing day.
  4. Well said Matt.
  5. of orders at SFC? Who wears the Trousers in this relationship, who's the dominent male? It seems to me that Rupert has asserted himself as the alphamale and Mike just lays back and takes it.
  6. I notice how slithery Mike makes no mention of the financial mess he inherited.
  7. He'll be gone before the end of the season IMO.
  8. More reason to protest than ever the way i see it.
  9. Welcome to my world.:smt024
  10. Wilde may well see it but he does as he's told.
  11. Thanks for trying Jan but you had no chance with our hated chairman Rupert Lowe in charge.
  12. Please god NO. That slimeball wouldn't pick Le Tissier for England to get his own back for Le Tissier not signing for his chelsea team. He has no place at Saints.
  13. Wotte a load of Rubbish.
  14. We've swopped one Dutch joker for another dutch joker. League 1 here we come. LOWE OUT.
  15. **** off Wilde.
  16. SAINTS supporters’ group members have called on fans considering protesting at St Mary’s to do so peacefully and not during games. What ********. This isn't the Trust speaking as the Trust is nothing but a voicepiece for Illingsworth, this is just an opinion of someone who thinks they are an gods gift to football supporting. Why is the Trust even mentioned at all? Saints Trust vice chairman Steve Grant doesn’t believe protesting will make a difference. Well it'll certainly make more difference than anything the poxy Trust will ever do. While Saints burn they'll probably be organising a quiz night. However, he has encouraged those who want to do it to keep it peaceful and not while play is in progress. Peaceful it should be, but who's SG to lecture on what can and cannot be sung during games? “If you look back to the last time all this kicked off, in 2006, when there were protests all over the place, they didn’t actually seem to have any effect whatsoever on any change being made,” he said. Of course the protests had an effect. They encourage new parties to buy shares and challenge Lowe.
  17. KD deserves the upmost respect. He came to Saints and rightly earnt a reputation as a flapper and got loads of grief but he battled on and came good. If he does honour his pledge to stay loyal he'll be remembered fondly long after his retirement and will always be a true Saint.
  18. Redknapp inheritted a squad of players that were crap. I didn't think he'd save us, but i did think we had a manager who could bounce us back up within the 2 year parachute window. Lowe is the reason that never happened. He made it abundantly clear to HR that he wasn't wanted by underming him with the SCW fiasco and the sacking of Jim Smith (JS being replaced by a DOF was the reason HR left Pompey) and the pawltry £90K he let him spend. The fans slagged off Fuller but he's playing in the Premiership now so that says it all. If HR had been treated with respect by Lowe i think he'd have stayed at Saints and i think we'd be in the top flight now. Most will disagree with me, i can live with that.
  19. You can pinpoint the decline at Saints from the moment Marsden left us. Most people consider the rot started when Strachan left but it had infact already started. I'm convinced Strachan saw the writing on the wall (he learnt from his coventry experience) and timed his exit to perfection.
  20. Chris Marsden. He'd get the lads motivated for a relegation dogfight.
  21. Hello Somedunce, are you enjoying your holiday?
  22. This is last chance saloon time for the Saints Trust. They have a week to save themselves. If they carry on dithering no-one will take them seriously again and rightly so. I think i'm right in assuming this version of "Save Our Saints" is in no way connected with an SOS group from TSF. I wish them all the best of luck.
  23. And i still think the same thing.
  24. No, you've been having digs for a while.
