  1. It's pretty obvious that they weren't played because they are about to be sold.
  2. But it was acceptable! They are not a CCC first team squad of players - they are a CCC youth/reserve team. It's not their fault they have been abandoned on the pitch by Lowes stategy.
  3. I've said all along we should have got Billy Davies in. That said big Nigel Pearson turned out to be very similar in terms of being an imposing character - a natural leader. I was initially against Perason as i was blinded by wanting Davies but i'll admit i was wrong to doubt Leon and Lawries choice. Lowe however loves to be the "big i am" so Portvliet was perfect for him.
  4. Holloway said the same as Lawrie McMeneny. McMenemy said the same as anyone with half a brain would say. Only Lowe thinks differently.
  5. Put simply because we are tad pole in a giant pond. If we were at the Dell we could have survived, but St Marys is like a lead weight round our necks and whatever we do we cannot sustain this hungry mothership.
  6. I agree with you. Let's not kid ourselves though - our youth team players are currently of the standard of experienced non league players. This is normal for youth team players. It's not the young players that are the problem, it's the fact we have no balance between youth and experience.
  7. And assuming they stayed they are only non league standard players with a slight chance they'll make the grade. Promising youngster normally don't develop into stars. Just look at our academy - most kids don't make the grade, but we only talk about the sucess stories and they are now becoming a thing of the past at our club.
  8. I've been saying we'll go into administration for a long time. I'm no accountant but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that a business that loses money month on month is going to go to the wall. Because i accepted the inevitable a long time ago i also hope it happens sooner rather than later so that we can get it out of the way (with all the **** that'll come with it) and hasten the time when we can at last start moving forward.
  9. Ever heard the saying "you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear"? There's nothing we can do about it because RUPERT LOWE has dictated that we have an all out youth strategy. We don't have the resourses to become a conventional set up now. LOWE thought he knew better than everyone else and once again he's been shown to be clueless when it comes to football.
  10. This is not an over exageration. It's true.
  11. Ian Holloway was saying on the radio that he really fears for us. He basically said the same thing as Lawrie Mac that we just don't have a balance between youth and experience.
  12. I can't argue with that sentiment. I'd like to see us lose the immoral PLC status we currently have. Call me old fashioned but i just cannot accept the principle of a sports club being run for the benefit of shareholders. IMO we need to get back to basics and be self sustaining to the benefit of SFC and SFC only.
  13. I think i'm right in saying they were punished more severely that the other clubs put into administration for irregularities? Could you be more specific and spell out the punishment we'll receive?
  14. It's looking more likely than not that we'll be relegated this season and IMHO administration is also likely. Some may not agree with the latter, but to disagree with the former is wishful thinking. We are not good enough now and we're in the bottom three, and after the transfer window firesales we'll be in even worse shape to compete at this level. So assuming we are relegated and the club are forced to call in the administrators what are the implications for season 2009/10 and in the medium term (the next 3 years or so)?
  15. Was it something like £500,000 compo that Lowe and Cowen took?
  16. Ha Ha, Stelling goes beagling with Lowe so that won't go down well.
  17. You see over there.... Thats Albion Towers - part of my affordable homes empire. £185 for a years rent and i'll even throw in a pair of tickets for Man Utd.
  18. The OS really has gone down hill. Every article should start "and now a party political broadcast by the Lowe Party".
  19. Most teachers only teach because they don't have the ability to do a proper job.
  20. Cowen was Lowes fag at public school so would just be a yes man puppet like Portaloo.
  21. Lowe likes to portray those opposed to him as vocal minority (or a lunatic fringe) implying those against him are just insignificant element (or clingons as he once described us) but this is a complete nonsense. You only have to read this forum to see that his support base comprises of a small group (some of which are probably plants) that support him no matter what. The vocal minority are, and always have been, those who support Lowe. He is without a shadow of a doubt the most hated chairman in the whole of English football but still he clings to power at Saints. It's time for the silent majority to do everything in their power to force Lowe out of our club for good. In the old days Saints fans would never have allowed someone like Lowe to continue as chairman, yet we do now. Every Saints fan has a voice and it's now time to crank up the pressure and finally rid the club of Lowe.
  22. No you've got it wrong. SFC is not an ordinary club. At Saints Rupert Lowes ego is all that matters.
  23. Nah. Wilde spat his dummy out and betrayed us all out of spite against Crouch.
  24. Lowe put us in the mess and Wildes execs compounded the mess. That said if you were to read Wildes multiple personality posts - when he was disguised as Saintmarc he paints himself as completely faultless.
  25. What's pathetic is that we have a pompous **** running the club who stoops so low as to remove a picture depicting our clubs greatest achievement out of pure spite. Lowe is a nasty little man that should crawl back under his rock.
