Looks like it's all about being with a top flight club (well one that was there last season anyway) again doesn't it. Actually playing for them doesn't matter. Then again our young players aren't in the first team either, guess it's about esteem of the coaching structure.

Well, whatever it is that we're doing on the GK front we need to flippin well get on with it and stop tarting about, MLMC is just about 2 weeks way,then the French training camp and we have one valid GK on the books unless of course you rate TF as "valid".

Simples there again, if you're not playing in the PL (or some other top division) then you aren't England (Spain,France,Italy,Germany take your pick) material. You can be as good as you like in the Championship (unless you're an English goalkeeper of course) but you won't get into the full England side.

Well not really,a mid-table prem side gets about 50 million for a season,14 million (but it won't be shared equally anyway) would bring it up to about 64 million or a bit under 3.5 million a game.The oft quoted 90 million is what you'd get for one season in the PL and your 4 years of Parachute Payments.For just next season the PL will give us somewhere between 40 and 50 million depending where we finish (10th-20th estimated)
