Anyway we have Sharp,Lee and Guly to fall back on. Lambert is important to us but we have options at least. -

I expect CFSFC is beginning to wish he hadn't bothered to post now.Harbingers of bad news are always treated this way on TSW. When they are eventualy averred correct they don't get many apologies either. We shall find out soon enough. -
Looks like Hull are on the beach already then

I doubt that that would be allowed, all for one and one for all is an applicable motto. -
Is that the Cardiff that many touted to gain automatic promotion a couple of months back? My how their Cup Final has cost them.
-
Good luck with that then. However all this "strong squad" leads me to fear that there will be at least one (if not more) major absence this afternoon.Just hope it's not someone vital like Morgan or Cork.
-
would make sense if Jos is out, left sided CB for left sided CB.
-
Now why wouldn't that surprise me:?
-
Have a pleasant afternoon(and hopefully an equally pleasant early evening) then.
-
None too worried if Guly starts,3 players I definitely don't want to see starting:Bart,Martin,Butterfield.
-
As I don't actually envisage us not getting promotion I haven't really given much thought to exactly what might happen if we blow a 5/6 point lead in just 7 games.I could see NC being enraged enough to do something which might appear inconceivable at this moment though. It's not going to happen anyway.. In 2 or 3 more games we'll be as good as up.
-
Guess we'll have to wait,
-
A few players have been down with colds apparently, well according to the build-up interviews on the OS yesterday.
-
Pompey will as likely as not beat Burnley though, might even grapple their way out of the bottom 3.Who cares anyway. Can't believe how badly Burnley have crumbled,Howe will be sacked soon if he doesn't get some better results.
-
But just for today with Lua Lua and M Phillips I'd like to see them just take care of their defensive roles and leave the attacking play to Lallana,Lambert,Sharp an whoever starts at RM.We don't need to score 10 goals today.
-
Not for me no,they always seem to be out of position when we concede goals, both are pretty awful when speedy wingers take them on.
-
I still think that if Lowe had got the decision right when he appointed Gray things would be oh so different.Wasn't it at that time that he turned Harry down for the first time and Moyes amonst others, then spent nay wasted about 4 million £ on that useless lump Tinman.Coupled with the pay off for Gray and his useless sidekick Wadsworth the 6 million or so wasted their crippled us financially for years to come.Lowe was prudent...except for in that short period,he adopted corner shop economics for the most but could resist a flashy Rolex when he was passing the jewellers.
-
Not pessimistic about today at all, think we'lll get a draw at least but I've always got this niggly feeling that our full backs will not be up to the job. For me it's the only really weak area in our make-up.
-
If we don't go up from our present platform it will be because we totally blow our last 7 matches and heads will roll. Our salary levels are totally unsustainable without Premier League football and that is why NC has decreed that we need to make the PL this season. From here failure would not be tolerated believe it.
-
Pity the Easter matches aren't the other way round. If we played Palace before Pompey and other results all went our way we could clinch promotion by beating Pompey and send them down at the same time.A 3 in 1 top titty day.
-
But come what may we will still be at least 5 points clear of 3rd with a vastly superior goal difference and a match less to play.
-
I'm saving up for one of those De Loreans that you just have to tip the ass end of a tin of Coke and a couple of fag ends into and they take you to next week so that you can find out the results and bet on them.

Best result for Saints from West Ham v Reading?

Or a massive fine that puts them both into administration before the end of the season. -

Obviously the best result for us is a draw, still think West Ham will win though. Hopefully it will be a feisty affair with a few red cards, preferably for players who've already seen red this season. -
Bit of a daft thread, wishing happy birthday to a dead man. A bit more respect needed I think.
