Can't see how Leeds can take 3500+ to each away game unless they get preferential treatment on tickets. Isn't it 10% for most grounds so how come they get more than their allocation for some grounds. I mean we could have taken 4000+ to skate but we only got 2800 or so tickets, same with Brighton.Unless of course thay have some massive following at one specific game (like Arse away in the cup 10K tickets or something).

Wife wandered through the lounge when I was watching the game last Saturday. "Ah c'est Saints" said she,"Est ce qu'il y a le petit français qui est mignon" and that's about all she knows.Mind you I don't encourage her to watch sport,always gets into conspiracy theories about refs. Watching World Cup rugby with her was a bit of a pain in the butt.

I've looked at the incident a couple of times because I have the advantage of having the whole game on the DD of my satellite box,the shot is beautifully stuck and doesn't rise at all,I think Camp was fooled by that but he could have only done better if the shot hadn't been so well struck.Even if he'd got down the ball might have come back out for our sniffers.

I don't think we paid less for Jos than we did for Fox.Not that I have any real evidence to back that up though. I heard 2 million + for Jos but it could be just BS,came from a Dutch source though.

Hooper could be worth 35 million if we could get 50 million for Rickie,Guly or Connolly.

But you have to remember that we'll soon be filling up our bench with a lot of different options.Given that you have to have a keeper and a defender in the 5 that leaves 3 spots for a whole host of players, Holmes won't get near the bench when you have so many choices. I'm sure that we're just waiting for Rickie to come back or Lee to be available and we'll be loaning him out or just straight out letting him go, same with Forte.

Not this season though,this season 0 goals in 20 odd games, last season 9 in 28 or so.Could be that Arteta's absence affects his play, perhaps he's in a different role now.Sometimes if you take away just one player you change the results of 5 or 6.

Anyone think a team without home field advantage will win a play-off game this year? Can't see the Giants beating the Packers, Houston at Baltimore maybe.

What they say is that Fox and Jos weren't good enough for their team, don't doubt it's more a case of their manager not knowing what he's doing more than anything else.I mean look at Forest yesterday, Davies got some decent performances out of McGugan but McClaren and Cotterill can't seem to work out how to do it.

If you base it on attendances I'm sure that at least Arsenal and Newcastle get more probably Citeh as well. Then there's the question of the team, I mean can you honestly see Newcastle or the Arse getting done over by FC Sion..I think not.

And we seemed to hit on it almost by hazard because at Coventry we had no other options but to try it. I'd have thought it was pretty evident but then I've always thought that Morgan is a far better defender than Jack because he positions himself better and isn't afraid to pick up the odd yellow card for a crude,last ditch,one for the team foul,even has the happy ability to make them look clumsy and unintentional as well,important attribute in the modern game.

Back to the red card,which was pretty evident, when I saw it happen I said, that's a nailed on red,what with the new instructions about dangerous play and all, not even worth appealing. Anyway as to our players appealing for a red card doesn't look that way at all from the video or the stills, all the usual suspects are there in a huddle,either spoiling for a fight with some evidently excited Forest players,ie Fox or trying to pull them apart.Good job the ref didn't see any of that.

If you can pass the ball well it usually means that you can strike it cleanly and accurately so when you're in shooting range you have have dig.Morgan has forced some pretty good saves this season but he's been airing the ball too much, same as Holmes and Hammond did yesterday,as I've said on another thread, down low,skipping and skidding is the way to go at the moment,either you beat the keeper outright or he pushes it out under a striker's feet.Once they've all cottoned on to this I think you'll see a whole lot more goals from our midfield,especially with the current tendancy to pack the box a bit that unsights keepers when the ball is coming low behind a forest of legs and coloured boots.White ball,black boots easy to spot, white,red and blue ball,white,red,blue,yellow,mauve boots...not so easy.

This is what concerns me somewhat. Lee has come here to play football and improve before Japan's 2014 WC finals campaign, he won't take to being sidelined behind Hooper and Lambert most of the time, neither do I think we're going to pay a player 15K a week to shine the bench with the seat of his shorts most of the time.Guly to me is an important player but he's less effective in midfield unless it's in a 9.5 role which is often attributed to Lallana. The current midfield schema allows us more defensive options so I can't see why we should change it so to me signing Lee and Hooper means we're overloading unless there's something happening that we don't know about.

Why not, hymn sheets keep the rabble in order in those Sunday emporiums which I do not frequent.
