I'm more concerned about Fonte than anything else, such a key player, now seems to be on top form at the back again and is so important in the premier phases of most attacking build-ups. Don't know if we've ever won a match when Fonte has been missing, a cup game may be.

Nah, hasn't jos scored from corners this season,mind you it was probably against lower league opposition.

we have a few long range shots every match, trouble is decent keepers either tip them over the bar or round the post( and we're **** at corners) or gobble them up, they don't spill them in front of onrushing attackers as Bart and Kelvin seem to do occasionally. I think if you went through all the goals against us this season one by one about 10-15% of them including many of the most critical could be put down to some sort of(major or minor) keeper error or deflection.

Hammond is almost certain to be back ...Morgan is suspended. Just to set the record straight re AL. I think he is an excellent player but who does tend to have some pretty big ups and downs, the most recent down seems to be lasting far longer than any that have gone before it.As someone else says if we're carrying AL and Guly who are without a doubt the sharp end of the creative effort we ain't got much left. I also think many of our players are suffering from too many high intensity games one after the other.

Work permits don't help really, Arsenal have a Japansese youngster but he's out on loan in Holland somewhere because he doesn't qualify for a permit as yet.Many South Americans manage to find a Spanish or Italian granny somewhere or other but I wouldn't think it's the same for East Asians.

Diesel is 1.35 euros a litre here,95 SP is about 1.51 and SP95E10 about 1.47/1.48. so it just makes sense to get a diesel, ours does a bit over 100 km to the gallon,with the stop/start thingy. If fuel cost are higher in the Uk it can only be down to taxation which makes up about 70/80 % of the purchase price.

Can't be right, we all know that the group (including Nigel I guess) "doesn't get too high when we win nor too low when we lose". although the amount of injuries we've got racking up would worry most managers (and fans for that matter). I'm sure that the opposition have cottoned on to the fact that KD spills shots quite often actually,hit and hope from 25-30 yds and then have blokes following up.I mean every detail is analysed from videos nowadays isn't it and if I've noticed it then I'm sure that highly paid football managers have as well.

that's why I called him shotspiller yesterday, does it a lot,had already done it before in that game,got turned in as well but it was offside. We need a new keeper, one who commands his box and doesn't spill shots.Look at Spurs without Gomes,even the 40 year old Friedel is more solid, probably less spectacular but he holds onto shots and takes crosses off his line.If we had had James we would not have lost on Friday night.
