Have Saints turned up yet.
-
they do, it's in the petrol or diesel cost.
-
Down the pub ! must be true then. Apparently Moses got the 10 commandments from a bloke down the Burning Bush public house.
-
Wolves though innit, didn't they treat Surman pretty badly as well as far as opportunities go??
-
which strikers will we sign after Jan.1st ?

No the required, just Nookie Bear. -
I must be mistaken then, thought he'd done some time with Wolves,a few games mainly as a sub but thought he had been there.
-
We'll see then, sometimes mums, dads and uncles follow the "if wishes were horses, beggars would ride" approach.
-
excellent news, won't have trouble finding his feet next season either, he's been there and done that.

Don't know about Italy but the SNCF makes a profit, about 600 million Euros for the year 2010. Obviously there have been vast subsidies in the past which probably paid off the infrastructure and we'll be paying the Mitterand tax on 1980s rail pensions for ever but the new streamlined SNCF makes money,a lot of it from Eurostar,Thalys and Lyria but the "proximity sector" ie commuter trains makes some as well. As you can deduct your to work travel expenses from your tax return it's a win,win situation anyway.A good part of the profits go back into the state treasury as well.

But it's not just what has to be paid to Donny is it, it's what he wants on a personal basis. If his contract buy out price has dropped by 1.15 million £ he'll probably want at least that amount in signing on fee or loyalty bonus or goal bonus or whatever have you, if we were interested in Sharp he'll be no less expensive than he was in the summer except that the distribution of the dosh will be altered. NC seems to be a very prudent man when buying players and establishing their contracts.

what relatives getting involved in yuletide bar brawls, glassings outside local nightclubs and getting pushed about by bouncers for being a bit of a knob in clubs....that sort of thing??
-
Wouldn't mind Austin ,seems to offer a lot more than your average straight up and down striker.
-
Well it's not exactly right is it, as far as I can gather we had our summer bid accepted not rejected, we just couldn't come to terms with Sharp himself.
-
Microwaves first came to the general public knowledge in the early 70s when some silly old bint in the southern states put her dog into one to dry it off.Story made all the dailies eventually of course and everybody began to know at least what a microwave did. I had one in about 1976,got it in Japan I think, Hitachi, worked wonders up until about 3 years ago when it went to the great scrapyard in the sky to be replaced with a 69 euros Samsung effort from the local supermarket.

He should be aiming higher or we should ?? Anyway Saints seem to have a bit of a strange system on transfers, we seem to like getting players for not a lot and on a reasonable salary at first and then giving those who make the grade a far better fatter contract soon enough afterwards.Seems like a decent system to me.

Not so much, a final 23 matches of something like W11 D6 L6 would probably get us there. We've 11 home and 12 away games left I think so if we could win 3 aways as per the first part of the season we'd only need to win 8 out of our remaining home games. I can see 8 very winnable at home,in fact nailed on winnable Doncaster,Brizzle,Barnsley,Coventry,Ipswich,Derby,Skates and Burnley, 3 away games to be won,say Watford,Palarse and Forest leaving us needing to just pick up 6 draws from all the rest, so you see winning at Brighton on Tuesday could even be a bonus
-
Rhodes would have no more chance of getting first team football at Saints than he would at West Ham, I do not doubt that when they are fit Guly and Rickie will be our first choice front pair. That's why I personally don't give a toss about Maynard,Sharp,Jut...z or Rhodes, I don't think we're even in the market for a mainline striker because we have to think of our youth programme as well. What I think we do need is someone a bit polyvalent and willing to sit on the bench most of the time until he's learnt our game and gets his chance.
-
I really don't know, depends on exactly how many players we need to help out the development squad, what our projects are for the cup etc etc. I think we're more likely to see some of the young talent going out on longer loans than we are of seeing some of the senior fringe players leaving the club defintively.Forte seems to be capturing sme sort of interest, can't see many of the others moving on unless we're buying position for position replacements in January.2 in 1 out would be my take on the senior players.

Wouldn't be cheap though, probably more than either Sharp or Maynard, still would be an adventurous signing even at 5 million euros or so. -
How do we know Rhodes is among "the best players" though.Allardyce had a 25 man shortlist of prospective targets, bound to be a couple of decent players on there somewhere. I'd rather he went for Rhodes than say Maynard or Rodriguez. He might even have a couple of our players on his list ...they won't go there though.

I thought Sharp was supposed to be done deal...there's competition for places and competition for places: -
Anyway who was to say that the queue was only for Brighton tickets? Isn't there a game on tomorrow evening or something, tickets for that might be considered as worth queueing for as well.

Baldock has been injured for a few weeks now, don't know when he's expected to be back to fitness. -
Anyway as there were apparently 2200 or so tickets for 13000 ST holders for an easy bank holiday jaunt 60 miles down the coast on the motorway there are bound to be a lot of disappointed customers. Most away grounds just aren't big enough for Saints.
