Now 302/7 ah well if it seems too good to be true it usually is, Yorkshire at 104/5 I mean.
-
I lived there for a while back in the late 80s mainly because I had to as I was home based at the EEC at the time;never particularly enamoured of the place myself, wouldn't call it a tourist city as such, unless you're into red light districts which I guess you won't be if you're taking the wife. Most people will speak at least 2 of the 3 official languages as it's a must for all civil servants in Brabant and they get taught that way in the schools.Once you've seen the Atomium and the Palace and all that it's no great shakes. As someone said Brugges is better.

Still don't see Hammond being totally cast aside next season myself. He seems to be one of NA's favourite players.I'd say the captaincy will still be in his hands at the start of next season.

4;32 was it, still remember it as a sort of timeless moment, remember seeing Stokesy hit the shot,Stepney went down late and I thought "he ain't going to get that" then I got projected forward about 10 rows (well so it seemed anyway)

Out of Contract Players - Decision Time
Window Cleaner replied to Saint Charlie's topic in The Saints
Without a doubt but as he has a contract with Citeh for mega-bucks they probably still pay some fraction of it. If he's on say 40K/week, I'd think that's probably split 25/15 -

Do pay as you play contracts actually exist?? No player would accept one unless he couldn't get anything else. I'd think offering a PAYP contract to Jaidi after all he's done for us this season would be an insult to him. We either give him a proper contract or free him to sign elsewhere. -

Bellamy is on loan at Cardiff, who knows who pays what between Cardiff and Citeh. -
We could always try for someone like Mvoto from Sunderland, thought he looked handy at Oldham. Ideal like for like replacement for Rahdi when time ends his career.
-
I'm not at all sure that this seasons' team sheets would bear that out.
-
Are we really playing 4-5-1 though?
-
Yes they have,half-time used to be 10 minutes, games kicked off at 3 sharp and injury time only ever used to be a couple of minutes. As there were no subs until 65/66 there was no 30 secs per sub either, even when subs started (1 named sub, no choosing 3 from 7) I don't think they added on 30 secs if the sub came on.Time wasting was time wasting, few refs added on time for it.The results used to start ticking up on the Grandstand teleprinter from about 4.42 onwards.

I'd wager that Saints don't spend 3 million on any one player this summer.
-
And so to Yorkshire. Great start today, Yorkshire 11/2 (were 7/2) both openers gone. Now we really need to turn the screw and not let some hack middle orderer take 200 off of us. Encouraging though.
-
Nothing to do with Poortvliet, it was a thing between Rupert and Georges Prost. Still a bit worried about Morgan's future with us myself,I still think that NA sees Hammond and Chaplow as his best CM pair and that if we bring in someone else it will be to partner Hammond. Don't like to knock NA after the great job he's done but I can see him getting this one wrong.
-
Can't see him going to Arsenal at the moment, they need hard men for next season and I don't think Ox is that yet. They have Theo, they don't need Ox as well.
-
can't understand why we'd pay money for him on the off chance that he may turn up trumps for us. He is here on loan for the season...simple as that.
-
Ah bugger pic doesn't work
-
anyone who wasn't there that day is a plastic,JCL supporter You had to be fit to survive that sort of crowd on the terraces, most of today's fans would have heart attacks when they suddenly got catapulted 5 rows forward when we scored (not that we did on that day mind you).
-
It was never mentioned in any official context though.

I'd think we absolutely have to keep Dan Harding, Dickson won't cut it in the NPC,did you see that faux-pas he made when Walsall nearly equalised? Any common or garden NPC striker or advanced midfielder would have buried that. -
they nearly sold him to Rangers but he couldn't agree terms.Everton were after him but don't know where they are with that now. Anyway he's signed on at Burnley until the end of next season at least.

Tournament announced for Friday 27th May, organised by the Chamber of Commerce. Forum team being entered ???
-
I guess the point there was that he hadn't been invited to play any part in the ex-Saints set-up on Sunday. Logical really because none of the players were from his time as manager.More WGS than anything else but at the end of the day Merrington had to step in.

Puncheon hasn't finished his season though.Don't know where Fish is with Doncaster, is he getting a game ?

Low Brentford home, High Oldham away
