As expected Davis ©. Butterfield, Fonte, Seaborne, Harding. Puncheon, Chaplow, Schneiderlin, Lallana. Guly, Lambert

well it can't be exactly the same can it, Morgan for Deano to be sure but probably about the same for the rest. I am convinced that RL cannot be dropped unless he's really really unfit and the manager has to live with that.

we shall see

don't get many optimists like yourself on here these days though.

Hmmm; anyone with an OU qualifiication in Tapatalk or T9 or whatever they call it want to give me a translation of that??

aha, proof that reality is just an illusion brought about by the lack of alcohol. -

he just needed to fire Burley and history might have been changed. I think he wanted to but someone stopped him. Bet he regrets that. -

Correct, if you go and hang about in the fashion quarters of Soho or Brick Lane you'll notice loads of people whos' companies change name every now and again, they just go broke, get wound up and buy another off the shelf company name and carry on exactly as they were, often with the same suppliers and the same clients. As long as they don't get banned that is,but then there's always a cousin or the wife to step in and head up the new shell company. -
this is a good looking side, unfortunately we won't see it today, or not at the start at least, we'll play the undroppable RL and he probably won't score from open play.
-
who knows, someone might bank roll them and they'll shoot through the divisions and then implode again...remember Road Sea,although at least a couple of their players actually did work for them like Ray Collins.

£25 to £30 on beer in an afternoon ??? in my beer swilling days you could probably have bought Strong's brewery for that. Let's see 1s10d a pint, so 11 pints for a quid,x30, not bad 330 pints in an afty. -
Although he is now the proverbial rural kilometre in front because he wasn't content to just stay put and be adored by a handful of fans, he's gone out to prove himself on the European stage. This is my continual beef with Le Tissier he wasn't prepared to "be all you can be" as they say in the US military recruitment campaign ad.

nope, expect a good win myself with a couple of goals from our midfield.
-
whatever "body problems" means in NA speak he also has a big hole in his head, but I'don't doubt that he'll play tomorrow, he probably has a contractual clause that says he can't be dropped.
-
He's not a one season wonder because he scored a fair few the season before last at Bristol Rovers, there were however years when he has had a far more modest goals/game ratio. Rickie no doubt profited from the sparkling form of other players last season to boost his goal tally. Anyway NA says he still has some ongoing physical problems which the medical and coaching staff are working on constantly so maybe it's time for him to have a little rest and see what we can do with Barnard and Guly tomorrow. Although to be frank Barnard really hasn't helped by getting himself sent off in a meaningless game and then having all his city centre micmac.
-
I thought he was a useful player last season but as our strike-force is currently misfiring badly we need players like Puncheon to start chipping in with goals again until they sort themselves out...or rather until the manager sorts them out. With the risk of being a bore (again) I'd just point out here that our problem is in scoring goals, not who's playing well and who isn't. We have more serious problems than booing Jason Puncheon. Fans should start barracking Lambert every time he's a yard too slow or slams a hard earned free kick into a defensive wall. although I don't remember him scoring 13 or 14 goals for us last season, maybe in the MM JPT trophy??

everybody was excellent against Tranmere because they we're so frigging bad. I'd look good against a girl guides side like that.Tranmere are poor anyway, that day they had a reserve stuffed side out to boot, young loan players in the main.
