clubs with genuine ambition get to keep their best young players, but as you can probably count these on your fingers the best players always get drawn into a sort of success/reputation vacuum and then just move about inside it.Man U,Chelsea,Man C,Real,Barca,Bayern,two Milan clubs,Juventus+ Arsenal (from time to time ) and that's about it.These clubs always have endless ambition fuelled by endless money.Real can buy a player for 80 million and pay it off with a year's sale of shirts bearing his name,media rights cover all the rest.No matter how broke or indebted they are these clubs always have money for other clubs "stars".

From the little I've seen Chaplow is spending far too much time in front of our strikers, leaving Hammond the defensive role. Puncheon and Lallana are there to aid the attack, Chaplow needs to take his defensive duties more seriously cos with just Hammond doing it we're shàgged in advance. Well from the brief "highlights" on the OS I'd say that the first was sloppy, bad marking gave Gudjohnssen a free crack at goal. Two of our players were dragged out of place by the corner routine (which we should have known about) and the free shot hit the post (or bar) and led to the goal.
