although quite a few posters who went to Yeovil had Hammond down as one of our better players,top marks from some even. I can't see NA changing his starting midfield duo for any reason other than injury,international duty or suspension.It really isn't a problem area although some deluded souls still think it is.

I really doubt that he will start on Saturday (or at any other time whilst morgan and hammond are fit and available) unless we're going to go to a different midfield system and Puncheon gets dropped. But he'll get a start against Tranmere i expect and by then Hammond might have got 5 cards.

this is enshrined in their footballing education, it's why they will never move up through the leagues .They have been drilled to play this way for donkey's years, boot it up to the brick shît house CF or the devastatingly fast(but totally talentless)winger. They have not been educated to hold the ball and create time and space.They should all look at Morgan,Lallana and Guly in this respect,but then you have to have some sort of a brain as well.

Guly got a chance last night, stuck it into the net first time,when Lambert starts doing that again he'll be of use to us.

that would just be a waste of good scoring chances. We are where we are at the moment because of Lambert's inability to put the ball into the net despite a shedload of chances, he ends up on his arse most of the time anyway.I just can't see why we keep on picking him knowing full well that there will be no end product from him,he needs time in the reserves (or development side) to get his act together.
