2 from 5 games certainly, but how do a wickedly deflected free kick and a penalty rate on the value of goals chart. We have 11 players on the field at any time who'd probably score from a penalty, can't remember the geometry of the free kick though, whether it would have gone in without the deflection or not.

Morgan can pass anywhere you like, seen him do it loads of time, if he doesn't pass forward it's because there is no movement for him to pass to. I don't know how many times I've to repeat this before people get the drift, we have 1 main problem just now-it's called Rickie Lambert. Really don't know what's causing it but it needs to be tackled as a first priority.

Time to accept that it is unlikely we will go up

it wasn't form related though, Cortese is reported to have explained that. Pardew had to be sacked for some reason or other. -
The reason that we aren't scoring......

It tells us that Antonio and Waigo not being here any more aren't the totality of the problem, the problem??? easy one; Lambert is firing on 1 cylinder out of 8 and the defence is shipping goals in roughly the same way every game. -
don't think he's at Derby now, back at Stoke
-
left winger
-
Alan? more like Mark Dennis, I mean he was a left back and we all know how much he loves Cortese.
-
drop Lambert and put on Garrod and you're about right, we are wasting our time with Rickie'Goal Machine" Lambert at the moment, in the stiffs until he's fit.
-
but Stoke still won 2-1 didn't they??? Football is about one thing only, sticking the ball in the net,we have no-one capable of doing that and it's our only problem, hopefully Adkins will sort out this Lambert reliance straight away, get another striker in and get us playing on the deck.
-
Lallana is a better player, 100% cast iron fact,Lambert's style requires that we play in a certain manner, this also makes us utterly predictable and easy to shut down.Barnard may well be the equal of Lambert for all we know, he certainly is more mobile and allows us a bit of licence on the tactical plan.If you take away the penas and free kicks from Lambert's total last season (ok we needed those goals and he certainly does take a good FK) how many goals from open play does that give him (serious question)?
-
perhaps he realises that with a different manager our entire game might just not focus on Rickie Lambert but be geared to suit the talents of far better players, he might only get 20 goals in a season and therefore less money. Just a hypothesis mind you.
-
probably knew he wasn't up to the job, not in our league at all, well he is but he soon won't be if you get my drift.
-
course I do, it's just that this constant sniping at Cortese p*sses me off.

get over yourself ffs is an anagram of Cestrian Saint

Have you changed your mind about this season?

no I haven't, our only problem is with efficacity in front of goal.We will win this league......no problem. -
nope,we can't have 2 of them saying, "and after God, me" down at SMS

he will therefore be invited to join the grammar police of this very forum once he has signed up and paid his fiver.

fat bastard needs to knock that stuff on the head:?

Ooooh juicy one, South Today will get hammered for that if it's not 100% correct, wouldn't be in their shoes if they've made that up or even exagerated a teensy weensy bit.

I have been to interviews for jobs I didn't want, I just wanted it to get about that I was 'looking around' to get more money out of my then current employer.Still that was the mad 80s when you could double your salary in a month if you were unscrupulous enough.
-
it's still fixed term accordng to employment law, the only type of contract from which you can legally resign with impunity is a contract of intermined duration (ie a normal work contract)Rolling is fixed term, once a new period has started it's fixed until the 12 months following that date.
-
because we did not incite MON to resign and take a job with us.He has no doubt sorted this out with Villa at the time and is now a free agent.
-
there you go then, lokoks like Scunny we're using the heavy bullcrap blower to try to give us the gee up and take our money.
-
not in football it doesn't, you can't just resign from a fixed term contract in any walk of life anyway. If you quit before the end of your contract your employer is entitled to compensation just as you are if the contract is broken by the employer for no valid reason.
