Anyway if you read their forum the uber poster says that the difference was our central midfield pair who shackled whatever they had completely and pushed our attack forward all the time;as I keep telling you all,you'd have to look hard in this division to find a midfield pair like ours;although many of our fans just can't see that.

if it was like any of my student teas it was a couple of cans and Mars bar or some leftovers from the evening before's take away. Unless of course anyones parents had visited recently,then it was apple tart,home-made cake,chocolates and Fruit biscuits, still with the cans though.

what hammond and schneiderlin need is some decent movement in front of them and someone in attack capable of producing some end product.Its easy to look crap when you have to hit speculative 40 yard efforts because there is no class in front of you,then the ball comes back your way instantly and you have to go and win all over again,with that sort of ping pong motion you're phucked after 40 minutes.Lallana has been a great loss, Chamberlain is not yet ready for continual first team football,Puncheon isn't moving enough and Lambert is a waste of space atm, with Lallana back, Richardson getting forward down the right and a striker pressuring the defence all the time our midfield will look just as it did last season.

to do what??? we need a striker and nothing else.

strange though really, Puncheon, Lambert and Fonte, 3 players who came here with the express aim of getting us promotion last season all struggling to find their performances of last season at the same time. Still Fonte looked a bit nearer the mark last Saturday, perhaps Lambert and Puncheon will get there soon.

whatever happened to the "Full 90s" then, used to look forward to those, perhaps we only did them for home games we won by handsome margins.

not all of them though,a couple were in French and German lower leagues, mind you most of our fans would have issues with their "work rate" I guess.Still as we seem to be baulking at sums of around 500K (wasn't that what Reading wanted for Antonio?)
