he did not look quality... the two games i have seen, the only player to come close to quality is harding... patterson.....was OK v Millwall and I reckon most would agree with that.

ok....my take on it.. Davis - 7 not a great deal to do.. James - 6 apart from their goal (where it was no way just his fault) I thought he did ok at RB Harding - 9 Brilliant.... Trottman - 6 did well, how he did not score i dont know Perry - 6 did ok Mellis - 4 oh dea Lallana 4 - still have no idea what he does Hammond - 6 decent debut Morgan - 6 has good ideas, he likes to spread the play but our wide players seem to do what the hell they like Lambert - 6 great target man did not get any supply really, (i think it was) a great knack back by him for harding to score Patterson - 4 oh dear Sagga - 6 looked lively, was able to hold onto lamberts flick ons which actually allowed us to attack Thompson - 3 WTF..? rasiak - No score only on for a few mins

so... we are talking about yesterdays game are we not.... sagga was miles better...

but we went through a league season a few years ago in the prem and only losing two at home (man utd and liverpool)...

daft really...when sagga came on her offered so much more..we actually attacked for spells rather than a hopefull ball up to lambert for patterson to chase..

when I look at the line ups yesterday..it was shocking that we could not beat brentford...they even played shyyyyt it was beyond belief.. dont know if you went, there was a period in the second half when brentford could only just about pass the ball out of play... they were utter shyt..... when you have a team with lambert, davies, harding, hammond, sagga (rasiak on the bench)...well, will leave that one there I would suggest we could have bought their first 11 3 times over (and probably more)...with the cost of our squad in comparison yesterday, gelling or no gelling was awful I see norwich are doing fine already.. Im sure it will get better, and I think pardew is a good manager..but this is about yesterday and the utter ineptness going forward.. even 24 hours after, im still trying to figure out what Lallana does...? just to add balance and show the usual witch hunters that I am not all doom and gloom..I still think we will be mid table around xmas/jan and I thought Harding was superb yesterday...

This all sounds good and looks like a good excuse at the end of the day we could not beat a team that were utterly shocking and who at one point could only really pass the ball pathetically out of play for a period in the second half. We huffed and puffed and had lots of possession but we had no wide players an those who did ply wide lack any sort of team discipline and we created nothing really I'm sure it will come good soon. Well I blooming hope so

Of course the size of the club helps Who else in this league could I've signed the beat striker whilst sat well adrift at the bottom??? Leeds, charlton that is about it te size of the club helpe us there

But le god it is not nonsense I can't remember a team so happy with a draw against the bottom club lime brentford fans were. They were ecstatic. If facilities mean nothing then why don't we sell the training ground and use southampton. Common? We are one of the bigger clubs in this league hence why the likes of lambert come to us at the bottom and getting his wages doubled and why the captain of another club came to us yes it does not mean we have a devine right to win but it all counts in our favour

I missed the last 3 months of last season... Clearly like you icant make them all and Im sure I missed some stinkers does not change my view that it was one of the worst games I have seen in years. If you disagree then fair enough. It is my opinion

What is ironic. I have been getting some grief lately for being too positive or unrealistic. When I come down to earth to join the masses I get stick again. I say it how I see it,and yesterday was anything but entertainment or thrilling or just plain good if that is Improvement then Jesus Christ

How do you know I never? Last season at least we scored a few goals yesterday I was shocked when we did what a terrible team we have I was even more shocked at how pointless lallana is in the team considering the reputation

Yesterday was my first of the season it was probably the worst game I have seen in years and some think it was an improvement lol no pace no width no creativity crap ref even worse opposition
