to be honest..i dont think you need high levels of skill to get out of league 1.. high motivation and high tempo with decent players and a manager who knows what he is doing is plenty enough there are some proper god awful teams in league 1 who play some of the worst football we will see

it would have been a bland design (much like now i guess) with a cinema attached to it..or even a souless business park we have a BIGGER stadium in the heart of the city and a stones throw from where the bloody club was formed almost 125 years ago...it is soley used for saints and THEY deceide if it used for concerts etc..not a business park or a cinema..

what point..? would you have been all excited way back when at the thought of frank clarke being the boss..? doubt it. I dont dislike tisdale...I just dont think what he has achieved is anything special what so ever.. if we were completely skint then yes, PS would have been worth a shout the facts are, we are not skint. we want promotion we want promotion beyond the CCC.. what I dont want is wait for a manager to find his feet at a level he has not reached yet whilst we need a quick exit upwards out of this league.. I know I know PS has achieved promotions in the past..but this is a level he has never reached before....to me, that is a gamble we can afford to give a wide berth IMO
