  1. i do agree to some extent... however, I would love to see jimmy bullard play tomorrow and play well...should he play well, KEEP HIS PLACE... the more I see Rooney and Lampard play the more I want to hate that team... easily two of the most over hyped and under performing players in recent years and simply should not be near the team

  3. after seeing the bits and bobs on telly...i have come to the conclusion that the residents of Newcastle are....simple.

  5. veron, forlan, djemba djemba, kleberson, reyes, shevchenko, malouda are also "hardly unknowns" but also, very shiiit.. Keegan said (and I quote) regarding the Milner sale.."trust me, we have someone to replace him"....that player lined up was bastian sweinsteiger (sp) from bayern - FACT....that transfer did not come off, it happens.. I still think owen is still iving on past reputations (at the mo) and is no way worth 100k+ a week for playing 20 games MAX a season if you are lucky..... im not saying keegan was wrong or right...I just cant see how wise can get any blame and why fans think keegan was/would do a good job....he even admitted before he came back to newcastle that he had not watched a single premiership game in 3 years!!!! 3 YEARS!!! he was running a circus (unsuccessfully) before he went back...

  9. no, but I have not mentioned anything about it!!! do you want him to? if so, I suggest you write to the club in an articulate and adult kind of way and you get a response....I have every time..

  11. have you asked him too?
  12. have you asked him too?
  13. hasnt he been banned for this before and been to prison???? or was that for something else??

  15. dont read too much into it.....he was at dunfirmline, saints and now blackpool...i think it is more of a case that liverpool are loaning him out in hop someone will buy him...
  16. it is two fold...it caters for the traditional big clubs in europe etc..but it also provides more "big" games for us all to watch..not just english clubs but other clashes of big clubs all over europe... if other clubs dont take their chances when they get a sniff of the CL, then whos fault is that...Everton had the chance and blew it...on the other hand, a little club called villareal had the same sniff and have not looked back since..... and it is not the traditional "big 4"....not so long ago, newcastle were strutting their stuff in the CL as were leeds, whos fault is it they they went tits up? not the CL or man utds etc?? no one forces leeds to spend £8m on seth johnson etc if spurs did not bottle it a couple of years ago and blame dodgy food then the balance of power could have easily shifted as that was when arsenal were at a right old transition period!!! I firmly believe that liverpool will drop out of the top four as they generally play dull football
  17. isnt that what makes part of the champions league a bit of a spectacle?? be honest, the champions league games on telly are aimed at us all not just the clubs playing, I know I watch the games on telly regularly and really enjoy some of the big clashes in the knockout stages.....the very fact no one wins the thing until the last game where it is ALL still to play for is great for what it is....the idea of the league (as suggested by some on here) not having a knockout phase at all would be boring and will soon enough go the way of another "big 4" or so.....
  18. who would believe any straight or faggoty bent answer he gives...what is the point??? some have made up their minds and will twist anything he says against him...
  19. oh...it MUST work with all players then if it worked with baird for a whole season..
  20. some fans just dont get it (not saying you)....there is no bottomless pit of cash at clubs apart from man utd (to a degree) chelsea and now man city...that is it... at ALL other clubs in the country, players will have their price.. is milner relly worth £12m?? I think not, he is not in the england set up, does not really set a game on fire...and to think, Deco cost £8m... as for Owen, when was the last time he played 5 games in a row for 90 mins each??? yet he takes home a massive wage at the club and seems to be prepared to let his contract run down... there are times when managers WILL NOT get their own way...IF keegan was commited he would have seen this period through and see if the club would buy carefully (as they seem to have done this summer) in jan...
  21. who? dennis wise or the owners? they made a good move with wise, he stays miles away from newcastle is is never/rarely seen at games..... I just love the way football fans are so thick and jump on bandwagons..
  22. sure it was on the up...but the sky thing back in the early 90 gave it one hell of a push.. like I said...99.99999% of saints fans never had an issue with sky and/or worry if the arse would fall out of the prem when we were in it...
  23. so, what has he actually done wrong then?
  24. this is it..what has wise done wrong? dont believe the hype just because a bunch of idiots have nothing better to do other than stand outside of a football ground on a weekday ALL DAY..and sing songs about wise.... wise, by all acounts has done a great job this summer...gutirez(sp), collocini(sp) have been brilliant buys so far..... It was also made clear to the fans that wise' job was to go after the TARGETS the club identify... I cannot see what he has done wrong here and is getting so much stick??
  25. skacel in the middle .....despite playing on theleft for the last few years of his career...
