He did not have to make the point, twice though. Nigel is very savvy when talking to the media and could have easily waffled or gave some Adkins sort of answer...he never, he was being brutally honest, you could hear it in his voice

Or change of set up, tactics

Just heard his interview Despite all the claims on here...Adkins makes the very point that the selections the tactics and the subs are all his decisions... He made that clear

we are in the bottom 3.....and others still have a game in hand. how can you be promoted ahead of schedule when you brushed most of the division aside last season and spent every second of it in the top 2....that is not ahead of schedule..

I am amazed that Adkins is still manager...what is the point if he has no input he could walk away and tell everyone about it... I doubt he is hardly short of cash and I doubt (relatively) his stock would be much higher....he could walk into all top NPC jobs what I think is happening.....is that the club as a whole have decided to play a certain way from top to bottom..its not new, its not radical...a lot of clubs do that..but they are just far better than us

what abuse is he getting exactly..? no is one being rude, no one is being personal...most are also saying he is a great bloke..I have even said that he will always be a legend..but if he is not up to it...then he is not up to it..it wont be the end of his career..he will probably come back stronger upon reflection
