If the kit launch was a failure I'm sure you would have been very quick to point out that it would have been because of the kit design. Now it seems it was not a failure. Kit design does not come into it really.... It is the prem effect Apparently. Or that people are simply "mongs" Same of this goes on to be the best kit sale of all time. I'm sure the design won't come into it for you. Truth is. All factors are to play no matter how it sells. But it does seem many really do like it. I say, chill out, don't get so uptight about it. It will probably be gone next season. And we will return to (IMO) boring red and white traditional stripes

I dont count the rank xerox/air florida as a "traditional stiped" certainly nothing like that was seen before it really. the solid red kit, the pony tick kit was not traditional red and white. the sash kit obviously and the half and half kit....although had pin stripes (seen those before) not your traditional red and white "saints" top all IMO of course...now, you can tell me I am wrong but everything is all in our opinions I guess it matters not. The new kit is here, seems to be hugely popular first day and I guess it will sell massively well as have said before..I don't buy your traditional red and white saints top (like last season) as they are ten a penny to us...the last kit i bought was the sash kit....and before that, the odd away top. I will be getting this home kit as it is something slightly different to what I call boring red and white "traditional" stripes... again, IMO

I would seriously had been interested if you got me a few months ago alas, I have a shytty little diesel which will do me for a year or so

red and white stripes....but we have also had non red and white stripe shirts.......and this is kind of one of them (even if it does have pin stripes) throughout the 80's we completely broke from "tradition".... I was born in 1980...that is about 19 years of your standard red and white stripes...and 13 years of non/other variations of red/white (give or take a year either way)

talking of tradition....that means we are equally down for blue shorts and socks...we have had those for half of our existence
